About this house rental
Large 3 bedroom cottage home with a sitting room and fenced in .6 acre grassy yard and back patio. Situated just outside the village next to Usher’s Park Beach. Cottage Sleeps 8 adults with 2 bedrooms plus a pullout sectional and futon, the third bedroom is at the back of the property and features 3 sets of bunk beds that can sleep 6 children. In the living room where you can relax on the two large couches while warming up next to the indoor fireplace. The outdoor private backyard includes a large fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs, a 10-person picnic bench w/umbrella, propane and charcoal bbq grills. We provide propane but not charcoal. Nearby trolly stop is a block away at The Garrison Restaurant and that brings you to all local attractions. The cottage is also situated right across the street from the start of south warren snowmobile trails and the adjacent to the lake for the winter carnival festivities including the ice castles that are a 3 minute drive from us.

A huge disappointment was the American flag touching the ground. We wrapped it around the pile and surely hope the homeowner buys a smaller flag or raises the holder. My email said the house number was 365 and the code to enter was 0369. After all 4 of us tried to get the lockbox open and we're unsuccessful, I sent an email to Janell. While we waited for a response, we realized the house was 369 so someone may want to fix that so nobody else endures those moments of stress that we did. The house was clean. However, the coffee pot had mold in it and we cleaned that and one of the mattress covers had dried blood stains. We enjoyed the house and the stay and we would rent again. Thanks for having us!

The place was spacious and close to the village. The couches should be replaced. The pans also. The dishwasher didn’t work, so we bought paper plates, cups, etc. Overall it’s a homey place to stay. With a few minor upgrades, it could be a lot nicer
