About this house rental
Whether you're visiting for summer lake days, winter snowmobiling, or the Lake George Winter Carnival, this spacious cottage offers a comfortable and convenient home base for your group.
The Space:
The living room is a great place to relax with two large couches and an indoor fireplace. A separate sitting room gives the group a little extra space to spread out, and an entryway futon provides flexible sleeping for overflow guests. The house cooled by window Air Conditioning from Mid-June-early September.
The cottage sleeps 10 comfortably 8 adults and 2 children:
* Master Bedroom -- Queen bed, dual night stands and two dressers, a TV, and a private en-suite with a shower/tub combo
* Second Bedroom -- Full bed, two nightstands, dresser, and a smart TV.
* Bunk Room -- Two bunk sets, each with a single on top and a full on the bottom, located in the back of the home
* Entryway Futon -- Additional sleeping option of a futon with a thick mattress is an extended option.
Two full bathrooms serve the home -- one in the hallway between the two main bedrooms, and a private en-suite in the master bedroom.
The backyard:
The partially fenced .6-acre yard gives you plenty of outdoor space. Out back you'll find a fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs -- a nice spot for evening gatherings. Please note we do not provide firewood, though past guests have occasionally left some behind. A propane BBQ grill sits on the back patio, which is lined with string lights that turn on at dusk and run for about 4 hours.

* Home is located at the intersection of Beach road, and Route 9L in Lake George.
* Usher's Park Beach -- right next door for swimming and winter carnival access.
* Million Dollar Beach -- half mile away, large beach and boat launch.
* South Warren Snowmobile Trails -- directly across the street, you can ride your snow mobile out the back yard to the trail.
* Trolley Stop -- one block away at The Garrison Restaurant, with service to local attractions.
* Lake George Village & Steamboats -- just half a mile away.

A huge disappointment was the American flag touching the ground. We wrapped it around the pile and surely hope the homeowner buys a smaller flag or raises the holder. My email said the house number was 365 and the code to enter was 0369. After all 4 of us tried to get the lockbox open and we're unsuccessful, I sent an email to Janell. While we waited for a response, we realized the house was 369 so someone may want to fix that so nobody else endures those moments of stress that we did. The house was clean. However, the coffee pot had mold in it and we cleaned that and one of the mattress covers had dried blood stains. We enjoyed the house and the stay and we would rent again. Thanks for having us!

Had nice walks from the house to Lake George and relaxing nights by the fire. Excellent week.

The place was spacious and close to the village. The couches should be replaced. The pans also. The dishwasher didn’t work, so we bought paper plates, cups, etc. Overall it’s a homey place to stay. With a few minor upgrades, it could be a lot nicer
