Casa Vacanze al Conservatore

This is a gorgeous, peaceful property with views that go on forever. Our family of 5 adults and 1 baby stayed for 4 nights in June 2026. Parking is on the property. The location is an easy drive into the old towns of Ragusa Ibla and Modica, and about a 10 minute drive into town where we bought our groceries and very good take-out pizza from Pomodoro e Basílico. One evening we barbecued a chicken dinner on the patio as we watched the sun set. We had two beautiful rooms - Belvedere and Massuro. The rooms were large and airy and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are also large and very clean. It was very helpful to be able to use the shared washing machine before moving on to our next destination. We enjoyed our coffee on one of the many patio areas each morning, and stargazed at night. The hosts are generous and very kind and helpful. It was lovely to learn the history of the property that has been in their family for generations. The whole experience here was magical and the highlight of our three week trip to Sicily. Blick von oben und die Ruhe. Die gut ausgestattete Küche. Nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, konnten wir gleich ein paar Wanderungen machen.

Die letzten 500-1000 Meter zum Haus. Sehr holprig. Wenn man die Schilder unten an der Straße sieht ist der Weg auch eindeutig.

The property is advertised as a one bedroom house and it was forgotten to mention that we had to share with other guests the pool and other facilities. If the place was fully booked we would have been more that 6/7 families using the place. The place needs more plants as it’s very dead last looking. The place gets the sun in the morning after 10am and it disappears around 5pm So if you like your sun you must book different villa or drive every day to the beach. We paid €1600 for a single occupancy villa, unfortunately we were tricked with the advert.
