This house was everything we looked for in a holiday vacation stay. My husband and I along with our two adult kids and their families found plenty of space for holiday gift opening, play on the lowest level (including pool table, fussball...), dining room, living/family room (including lots of books, puzzles, games, TV...) on the main level, and enough bedrooms and beds to accommodate all of us on all three levels (that allowed all of us to have our own space. Great house!

This was a very nice home in Nekoosa that had enough space for our family. It was spacious and clean, although was somewhat expensive. We enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys in and around the property. The location on the golf course is beautiful. The home had everything we needed for a long weekend stay.
I have stayed in many vacation rental properties around the world, but I have to say that this host seemed very paranoid and concerned about having guests occupy the property. Prior to our stay he reached out to ask for a copy of my driver's license to verify my age. While I thought I would be given an access code via text prior to arrival, the host reached out to have a phone conversation to reiterate the house rules (which I had already received and read). He explained that his neighbors do not like having this home as a short term rental property and made it clear that we should be quiet and respectful. There were 5 adults staying in the home, so I thought this was rather condescending and unnecessary. I think there should be a certain amount of trust that your renters are capable of behaving properly. The house rules were clearly laid out, and we treated the home as if it were our own.
