Most importantly a cart is needed to stay at this property. The staff was quite amazing.!! There is no restaurant but there is room service provided by a close resort. The bar was opened a few times when the resort had more people staying , but not regularly. We are quiet country people so we enjoyed being able to Go into the crazy busyness and get the heck out to peace and tranquility, within walking distance is what we called the strip mall.... 3 Belizean grocery stores that provided most groceries that you would need including rum and wine eggs etc....the furthest being Bonitos who, with his wife did a fabulous BBQ twice a week make sure and try it. The condo was well equipped and had an amazing view. Loved the pool chairs and the Kayak and paddle boards. But if you are looking for action this is not the place its quiet ..there were times we were the only ones there besides the staff.... like our own private retreat. We thought it was in the perfect spot close to secret beach, close to the far north end and close enough to San Padro each cart ride was a tour in itself. Slow down and enjoy it for what it is and where you are.

We have been coming to the island for many years. This is our 1st time up north on the island. This resort is very nice and quiet, the property manager (Andre) is very responsive. When you send Andre a message he gets right back to you within minutes. The property is clean and well maintained, plenty of things to do and use are avaliable on property. The property manager was able to assist with a golf cart rental. Which made it easier for us. The condo we stayed in was clean and had many items needed for our stay. The view from the balcony was awesome. We would spend many hours sitting and drinking our coffee or adult beverages, while enjoying the view. The only down side is as you know if you have stayed on the island, as usual the bed was not the most comfortable( unless you like a firm mattress), same with the couch. But like i said we have never found on our many trips to the island this any different. We stayed for a month and the bar cabana was open only 3 - 4 times. However if you would like you can have food delivered from the hotel just down the road. In summary if you want to get away and have a quiet restful vacation we would recommend this as a place to stay. However if you want alot of action, this would not be your place to stay. As you are approx 10 miles north of town and a little closer to (not so)secret beach. Recommend going. So have fun and enjoy your stay.
