The three of us (me, wife and Bertie our miniature schnauzer) had a lovely 13 night holiday. Virginie had provided us with very good instructions and communication before we arrived. The property is located in a quiet village with great access to cycle paths and Bertie particularly enjoyed the access close by to great walks in the forest. The property had everything we needed for our stay or we’d been told we needed to bring. The beach at Mimizan Plage was about half an hour drive and Biscarrosse Plage slightly further. Access to large supermarkets were about 10-15 minute drive. The pool was lovely for cooling off on hot days and the garden was nice and secure for Bertie.

We stayed at this property for two weeks. Myself, my husband and daughter plus our 2 sausage dogs. The house was well equipped and the outside area perfect for sunbathing, dining and the dogs. The inside was spacious and cool. There is a shop over the road and short walk up a bistro, pizzeria and bakery. The neighbours are delightful and very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it.

My wife and I have just got back from spending 11 days in this quiet corner of South West France. The Gite lacked nothing plenty of beds , modern and well equipped kitchen,
modern bathroom, Although only two of us the internal dining facilities catered for many more and so did the outside along with sun loungers, parasols seating and a pool to cool you down in the afternoon heat. certainly would recommend this for a stay.
Virginia the owner was very prompt in replying to our few queries and although she spoke very little English this proved to be no barrier to her. Thank you

Wir waren im August 2 Wochen in Pontenx-les-Forges.
Das Ferienhaus ist geräumig und unsere Fahrräder konnten wir prima in der Veranda unterstellen. Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien und auch genügend Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und die Außenanlage auch. Der Außenbereich ist abends auch schön beleuchtet. Das Haus ist liebevoll dekoriert mit vielen kleinen Dekoartikeln, Windlichtern, Bildern etc. Im Bad und WC gibt es diverse Ablagekörbe, Schränke etc. sodass man wirklich alles super verstauen kann. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt ausreichend Kleiderbügel in den Schlafzimmern.
WLAN gibt es leider nicht. Der Rollladen am Fenster in der Veranda lässt sich nicht öffnen.
Leider war das Haus nicht sehr sauber als wir kamen.
Die Küche war mit einem Fettfilm überzogen und das Küchenfenster hatte eine Grundreinigung nötig. Die Küchenschränke wurden auch schon länger nicht geputzt.
Zum Glück waren ausreichend Reinigungsmittel, Klarspüler und Salz für die Spülmaschine, Abflussreiniger etc. vorhanden, so dass wir nach einer ausgiebigen Reinigungsaktion trotzdem einen schönen Urlaub hatten.
