This was a difficult property to rate. We stayed 10 nights. On the one hand, the people responsible for maintaining the property were responsive to numerous calls for issues; but on the other hand, there was never anyone in reception, and thus all communication had to go through WhatsApp. Sometimes, a day would pass without a response because they were at ceremony. The room was large and roomy but hardly clean. We had to ask them to clean, which they did after 5 days. The lock on the door was a numeric, electronic keypad, which meant no need for keys, which is wonderful. But when the safe didn't work because the keyboard was shot, they gave us a key to use it? The sink leaked dirty water on your feet while washing. Worst bit was the wifi went out on day 1.5 and no matter how we pestered them, for the remaining 8.5 days the wifi was shut off. It wasn't working when we left. The lights on the bedside table flickered because the wiring was faulty, and it sounded like the wiring was sparking. The water was hot and plentiful, but the pipe sticking out of the wall had no showerhead. The pool was nice and water and cleanliness was exemplary.

See above. The issue with the wifi was unacceptable. There were rats in the ceiling causing all sorts of havoc with snakes and cats chasing them around at night and in the mornings.

Lovely stay - close to the beach and good food options

Good size room, comfy bed, excellent restaurant next door, 10 minute walk to the beach for snorkelling

Shower set-up, it didn’t drain well so you were standing in a puddle. Wish there were better seating options outside room & by the pool.

Terrific budget homestay with gorgeous pool and gardens.

What a little oasis. Hidden away in Pemuteran. Gorgeous rooms, lovely quiet area with beautiful gardens. Large patio area to relax. Outdoor/covered bathroom complete with shrubbery. Nice and clean too. Refrigerator and water available next to the pool area. Warung on site. Pool was exceptional. Quick walk towards the right to find a restaurant, a little further to a Coffee house/ bakery. Huge beach area with several areas to choose a day bed for $5.00 a day. Great swimming and snorkelling area. Lots of restaurants to choose from along the beach or the main road area. Don't let the price fool you. Fabulous little budget homestay.

Excellent value for money, rooms are great- outdoor bathroom is lovely.

Door code system is a bit confusing- especially if your phone battery dies. Sometimes have to ask at restaurant for reception as often doesnt seem to be anyone on.

Super value for money

My stay at Oma Inn was very comfortable. The staff are amazing, very friendly and extremely polite and helpful. Communication with the property is amazing, they respond quickly. I arrived late at night, 23:15. I was in contact with the property through WhatsApp. They left me a message with my room number and code for the keep pad. The room was spacious and clean with a huge bed. The bed was huge. I loved the outdoor bathroom. The basin and toilet are undercover. The gardens are lovely. Water available 24/7. It has a hot option as well. There is also a communal fridge.

A little hidden gem in the back of a small Paradise

It was very close to the best beach and also restaurants and bars and the price was more than good. Also the room was a very good size and the surrounding gardens are very pretty

The Stay was very quiet and not far from our diving Center. The Room was beautiful and always clean. Outstanding was the food from the adjacent restaurant. Very nice people who make excellent food!

1.At first we didn’t got the Accommodation/Room we expected. We were guided into a Room upstairs with just a bed and just a simple/plain Bathroom. So very different to the pictures in Booking.com. The friendly staff showed us around to their downstairs Rooms (them ones you see on the pictures). He called his boss to ask if we can change our room into them ones downstairs (We were the only guests at that moment). She said that we can cancel our existing booking and rebook another room, which we didn’t agree to because we we expected a Room regarding to the pictures we saw on booking. Otherwise we wouldn’t have booked that accommodation. She just agreed in the end reluctantly with the aspect to take away the Control of the Fan because we only booked a room with a fan, which I can’t recommend. It’s gets very hot in the Rooms upstairs and downstairs. 2. We were paying our stay Cash the day before leaving (633.675 Rupiah). As soon I entered the counter she asked me to pay 650.000 Rupiah. So after double checking the actual price, which the owner should know when she cashes in at you I ended up paying 634.000 Rupiah) 3. My Partner unfortunately forgot his expensive Headphones in the accommodation. We didn’t got a notification about someone finding it until that day.

Nice place to rest your head at night after a full day of adventure run by a bunch of lovely people.

Great location, the pool was nice and clean, staff were very helpful and loved the warung out the front serving up tasty simple dishes. I will miss the banana pancakes.

Pillows had a bit of a funky smell to them, the aircon remote screen wasn’t functioning but the aircon itself worked fine.

I loved the place, very big and comfy room with terrace and the outside bathroom is great with hot water. It's really a plus to have a swimming pool and it's very close to the beach also (2' walk). I extended my stay for an additional 4 days. Super lovely staff and great place for breakfast and dinner.

Strategic location, close to the center but in a quiet street. Nice pool. Beautiful garden. It includes a restaurant, I ordered an excellent breakfast on the terrace of my room.

You get a lot for your money (but don't expect too much)

The location is perfect. Almost next to the beach, calm area, nice places to eat or drink around. Beautiful room with amazing (outdoor) shower.

Being this cheap and receive this much quality, it's hard to complain. However, the lack of WiFi and the cigarette smell in the room were not nice. The place has a lot of potential!

Superb

The homestay is absolutely amazing. It has large bedroom and bathroom, nice and clean swimming pool, and also comfortable bed. The staffs are also very kind, one of them gave free transport service to the festival in Pemuteran and offered some food to my wife and daughter. Can't say any nagative thing about the homestay with this good value.

Room was large, comfortable bed and bug netting. Bathroom outside and private. Nice pool and staff were lovely and helped arrange activities and transfer.

Great value clean room, pool and wonderful cooking.

Our 3rd stay here and we love it. A few minutes walk to the beach. Small but one of the cleanest pools. Ketut at the accommodation, cooks wonderful meals. Putu keeps the room beautifully clean. Ria is very helpful for any information. The driver Putu picked us up from the airport gave an informative information on the drive. Great value.

Very good

The location is great, close enough to the beach and the main street (but far enough so it's quiet) The rooms are comfy and the pool is clean.

I would not recommend booking activities with Ria (the owner) as prices were confusing and after agreeing to pay a expensive price for a "trek" in the National Park (which included entrance fees), we were taken on a walk along the road outside the National Park. That was really disappointing.

Hidden gem

This place is just magnificent. It's so beautiful and idyllic, and also very close to the beach and BioRock diving/snorkeling spot. It's the perfect place to relax for a few days (maybe after a rush period in Java), whether you like sitting by the pool at the rooms or chilling at the beach. It's a hidden gem in Pemuteran and I would recommend it to everyone.

Convenient budget accommodation for exploring permuteran

Well appointed budget room . Close to beach. Open air bathroom

Electricity was off 4 out of 6 nights we were there. I had some work early in the morning and needed internet and it was not available . Some nights it was too hot when the electricity was turned off and I could not sleep . However , the manager was responsive when I informed about the issue and shortly after my notice , electricity was back on.
