Lysefjorden - Gøysa Gard

Great escape and a perfect location. Lots of information. A very memorable place to stay

The location and property is lovely. The goats and the sheep are very charming, and the place feels very secluded. And of course the wonderful view. Comfy beds, generally clean, easy parking, great access to the Lysefjord ferry

I loved how helpful the host was, answering loads of my questions. The property gave me so much peace and quit and the view from the house and the wild life just out of ordinary. The house was small but it had everything I needed and it was well equipped.

I have no complaints

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Exceptional location only 40 mins out of Stavanger and 20 mins away from Preikestolen base camp. The apartment literally looks over the fjord. It is a beautiful location. Bed very comfortable, shower excellent, and air conditioning. Very clean as well. There was a fire pit but we did not use this due to Storm Dave. The owner was responsive and really helpful. Also had electric car type 2 charger which was free to use for 3 hours - 7kW. Beautiful sauna run by the same people nearby with again an exceptional view.

Our only criticism is that the kitchen utensils are quite basic and worn. Could do with updating/replacing.
