Good location for visiting Ripon for our works Christmas party.

The cleanliness in the bedroom was poor and needs reviewing with your housekeeping team. The radiator in the bedroom is working and requires replacing. No breakfast available due to the kitchen being poorly, please display this on your website for future guests.

Really really bad customer service. Automated responses saying the same thing over and over and not helping me in any way. Passing me to Booking.com. I phoned 2 different numbers & had around 10 emails over a day, back and forth. Got absolutely nowhere. Will avoid at all costs.

okay for an overnight stay but wouldn't have wanted to stay longer

Staff were very friendly and welcoming and luckily we were able to park on the premises as that was one one the main reasons we chose the hotel as well as proximity to the town.

The room was very drab and in need of decoration ( holes had been filled-in on the walls and were not painted over ), and the mattress on the double bed was poor not offering much support, and we would have liked to have had breakfast, but unfortunately that wasn't as option, which to be fair we were aware of before booking.

Lack of parking availability despite it being stated on the advert that a parking space was included. Did not see a single member of staff during my stay but the person I spoke to on the phone to be able to enter was friendly and informative.

Cups in room had tea/ coffee left in them , had fresh ones then realised there wasn’t any tea bags either but nobody about so had to go to the garage and buy some 😔

This room was in desperate need of total renovation and therefore overpriced.

The location was good for town.

The bathroom was unpleasant with a poor shower and damaged lino. There was a large dent in the bedroom wall that looked as if someone had punched it in anger; the mattress was uncomfortable and we didn't want to take our shoes off as the carpet looked unpleasant as well.

Room needs updating.

The facilities were clean but very basic. The lady in charge was very helpful and friendly. I needed help to get the T. V. Working.

Problem with shower. Found it difficult to use and get temperature right. Fire alarm went off and apparently it was due to steam from shower affecting the shower .

The double bed in the room is not fit to sleep on the Mattress is completely shot springs popping out everywhere. Shower spray holder was broken and came off the wall. The room had a funny smell in it as well.

Good stay but a few things that would make it better. The staff were great and very helpful.

The location was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful making sure we could park our car. Lovely courtyard area outside the accommodation where we could enjoy playing games.

The low pressure of the water in the bathroom. Plus there was a smell from the bathroom which was worse when the air freshener was unplugged in order to plug in the tv.

Location very good , short walk to town centre.

Strange smell in wardrobe couldn't hang clothes up, had to leave them in overnight bag. Cups had just been swilled out with water still stained.overall room shabby needs an upgrade.

Upon arrival the room was in a disgusting and dirty state. This was reported to staff on site who said there was nothing else available. My colleague could not stay in the room as it was uninhabitable. We have been asking for a refund ever since and are getting nowhere. Next step is to claim via our payment card.

very shabby and rather rundown room. bathroom door for example didn’t fit and couldn’t be fully closed. . no ventilation apart from leaving the front door open. Although a kettle, mugs, tea& powdered coffee and biscuits provided, there were no water glasses. No wifi.

An adequate stop-over.

It was a short enjoyable walk up to the square and cathedral. We didn't use them, but plenty of restaurants, pubs, coffee bars etc. As for the room, thankfully it had a fan and an outdoor courtyard to sit in.

The room was small, but that was not end of the world. On arrival it smelled- musty at least. We left door open and the fan on to get rid of this, and also because it was a hot evening. Also the wi fi didn't work in the room or in the courtyard, only in the pub to which the room were attached. The landlady said it was erratic.

A great place to visit - so convenient and was very good value for money

Great location, and we could leave the car whilst we walked and explored the town and countryside around, without charge in your car park

The day was really hot and we couldn't find out how to turn off the bathroom radiator. We asked if it could be turned off later in the evening but it didn't seem fair to get the owner out so late at night. The bathroom door could be closed so it didn't disturb our sleep, but you are wasting money keeping it on when it such a very very hot night already
