About this house rental
In the heart of the village of LOGONNA DAOULAS, in the harbor of BREST, with beautiful strikes of easy access to less than 1 kilometer. Old farmhouse typical of the region completely renovated into a pretty holiday cottage that has retained all its charm of yesteryear; mezzanine room overlooking the living room open on a welcoming terrace in front of an adorable flowery garden with care, surrounded by stone walls.
Sea 1 km. Sandy beach 38 km. Sandy beach and pebbles 1km. Shops 5 km. Nearest town: BREST about 20 km.
Garden of about 100 m2, enclosed, private. Terrace, garden furniture, barbecue. Electric heating. WIFI

Ground floor: Living room with 2 sofa beds for 1 person, dining area, wall TV. Kitchenette: 1 hob with 2 induction burners, mini-oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and Nespresso coffee maker (provide pods) fridge, washing machine, wall-mounted TV. Shower room with toilet.
1st floor: Accessible by a staircase of miller to a mezzanine with 1 double bed 2 people open to the living room.

We, my boyfriend and I, stayed for a week in September and had a really nice time there. The house is tiny, but really cute and big enough for two people (probably a little crammed with four). The kitchen is well equipped and having a washing machine turned out to be practical. The deck and the garden are really nice and the view on the church spire certainly adds to the atmosphere. Unfortunately we couldn`t use the garden much as it was raining quite a bit. Staying indoors a little more than we otherwise would have made me realise that the cute house is actually a little dark as well and even when the sun`s out you have to turn on the light at the dinner table.
Logonna-Daoulas, the village, is nice and quiet and certainly not a classical tourist spot. The one restaurant in town (Logonna) looked a little shabby and outdated - we didn`t try it, though. In retrospect we would have liked to have at least one or two cafés within walking distance, but other than that we liked the pretty and original village, the 10 min. walk to a beautiful coast with nice trails - both great for walks or for running.
What we didn`t know: You have to actually properly clean the house on the last day. This appears nowhere in the contract and might seem unusual to millenials like us used to other types of holiday homes. Also, there are no towels or bed sheets and you have to bring your own. The communication about that with the agency didn`t really work too well and the owner couldn`t help out so we had to buy sheets at the supermarket.
