The property is centrally located: 10-15 minutes from the airport / 30-45 minutes to the ends of both islands. Bruno phoned us a couple of days beforehand and offered to pick us up at the airport, but we declined because we had rented a car. Unfortunately, we got lost (GPS link in VRBO inbox didn't work). We emailed Bruno who again offered to pick us up, but we ended up finding our way (save GPS link elsewhere / drop a pin). Bruno welcomed us at the gate and oriented us to beautiful, well-maintained, and spacious grounds, and a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped villa - we wanted for nothing! We ended up forgetting some "off the grid / house rules" during the week and appreciated our hosts' gentle reminders (it may be helpful to make them also avaiilable in writing). Bruno and Lisiane went above and beyond! We arrived in the late afternoon of a holiday Friday without having eaten since breakfast and, although grocery stores were closed, they kindly had food for us in the fridge! During the week, they recommended beaches, churches, grocery stores, restaurants, and tourist sites; let us follow them to the grocery stores; did a bit of laundry for us (nice to have clean swimsuits and towels mid-week); and kindly invited us to a pizza party with friends on Easter Sunday - Bruno has built his own outdoor pizza oven!We have rented properties in Africa, Europe, North America, and now Guadeloupe! The property is lovely and the hosts are exceptional - we'd love to go back!

Se réveiller au milieu de la nature, quelle joie ! Le bungalow est un vrai pti'bijou, nous sommes vraiment au calme. Les photos sont conformes au gîte, les propriétaires sont d'une sympathie et très discret. Des petites courses ont été faites pour notre premier soir et premier petit déjeuné, ce qui après le voyage est d'une telle pratique pour se reposer. La piscine est appréciable avec la chaleur.
