Terrific boutique hotel and people

We are typically chain AI resort travelers and wanted something more like the true country of Mexico. This hotel nails everything of convenience but small hotel feel. Only thing to note is there are quite a few steps without an elevator, but my lazy self got in better shape.
The view here is priceless - literally priceless with mountains and the sea
The rooms are super clean and very well taken care of daily. The only suggestion is a microwave or shared microwave. Pools and hot tubs are excellent.
The restaurant & bar is used by the hotel stayers and a bunch of other people in neighboring places as it’s the closest walking distance for many. Roberto does fantastic for breakfast but Edgar, there are not enough stars! Edgar was so friendly from moment one and taught us much about the area. He has brilliant ideas on how the hotel could grow which I wish I had the money to invest in because dude is smart. To management, invest in additional supporting help for this area, it’s a potential goldmine with the right changes. But always thankful to Edgar who mad us feel welcome and never an inconvenience no matter how packed the place.
