The hotel was empty except for us which felt a little strange, but it was nice. Rooms were good, air-con excellent, breakfast was good, fruit, eggs, coffee (it was not included in our rate) 150 pesos per person. We really enjoyed a swim after a long day driving to get there. It is super close to the Coba ruins on a lake. NOT a swimming lake, believe the crocodile signs. I saw several nearby.
pool deck is a little flimsy.

Excellent pool, overall staff were very friendly, lovely room with view
The breakfast could have had more options but I appreciate we were the only guests so understand :)

We love this hotel and try to visit at least once a year. It's just about perfect in every way, to be honest. It's worth it to pay the extra for the breakfast, as the food is good and the service excellent.
Our first night, the air conditioning didn't work due to a low energy issue that the hotel has no control over. I just wish I'd known or had a way to find out that the problem was electrical, since I got up more than once trying to figure out why the a/c wasn't working and I'd just have lived with it if I'd known.

Location was great on the lagoon and walkable to the ruins
No Wi-Fi at all anywhere on the premises, the pool was little dirty
