The environment, the drive to it. Beautiful road with many pits. The location is beautiful. The owner is extremely friendly. He made everything you see himself and you can see that. It's all quite sober but okay. Been to the Thermenbad Yoko Thermalis for 1 night really recommended.
Cooking had to be outside on a dated cooking set cooking set such as pots and pans had to be cleaned first. Further for these 2 days prime

Pochote Lodge has lovely gardens and a great pool to cool off in. The communal kitchen was very complete, and the views everywhere were delightful. There were plenty of trails for exploring and looking for birds. We came by bus, and Fransisco, the manager, was extremely helpful with transportation to the National Park and the airport, and information on trails we could use.

Owner was welcoming, friendly, joyful..
Close to rincon de la vieja.
It was clean.
Access to a kitchen.
Pool is described as ''natural'', but it looks dirty and unapealing
Small room. No A/C. 2nd bed wasn't confortable.
Shower had very little pressure.
Not much to see or do at the hostels even though it looks pretty.
No food offered at the hostel.
Owner doesn't speak english, but at least uses his app to translate as he speaks.
