Aranya Vilas - A Nature Resort

Lovely resort within the city and surrounded by natural trees 🌳. We had an opportunity to see several Peacocks around the property in their Habitat. Close to the city centre and Lake Pichola it was a perfect location. Food was excellent at the restaurant.

Rooms could be better maintained.

Aranya is the best hotel for you inside the city. Aranya is like the calm in the storm. Is a quiet place at the center of the chaos not such how that was made possible. If you want to be at the center and have easy access to everything then I say go for Aranya. The Lunch and dinner menu were great. The breakfast was more local than diverse.

The breakfast was not my favorite

Huge property with lots of trees and nature in all its abundance. It’s so cool inside the property as well. The tents are a good experience. Loved the food here as well. Service is exceptional. Location is quite central to most things such as city palace and Pichola lake.

The outside of the location could be chaotic but that’s just old city for you. They don’t give you two keys for one room don’t know why.

The Location of Property

I opted for Half Board (Paid for Buffet Bfst and Dinner) while checking in at hotel but there was no buffet provided for two days. With kids travelling along with me and feeding them is a challenge.and by not providing buffet gave me less food options for them. Hotel should have clarified at time of checking in and taking advance that buffet will not be provided. Not accepted from a brand like this. Felt like i booked a small guesthouse or an oyo room. There was no hot water for few hours in the morning. Asked to provide extra blanket and team recommended to use AC Hot feature, which is not advisable.
