Aranya Vilas - A Nature Resort

Our stay at Aranya Vilas was truly exceptional and one of the best places to relax in Udaipur. The peaceful surroundings, beautiful property, excellent hospitality, and warm atmosphere made our family holiday truly memorable. A special thanks to the wonderful team who made our stay so comfortable: Rajendra, Rosemit, Surya, Tanuja, Sangeeta, Sunil, Vijay, Ayush, Pranjal, Sharun, Asha (Restaurant) for attentive service and warm hospitality, and Fareen Khan (Housekeeping) for maintaining our room beautifully and making us feel at home. Every member of the team greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Their dedication and genuine care truly reflect the high standards of Aranya Vilas. We would highly recommend Aranya Vilas to anyone visiting Udaipur and look forward to returning in the future.

The only area where we felt the resort could do better is the quality of the beds and mattresses. We were genuinely surprised because every other aspect of the resort was outstanding. However, the comfort of the bed did not match the premium standard of the property and felt below what we would expect from a luxury resort. Upgrading the mattresses and overall bed comfort would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Lovely resort within the city and surrounded by natural trees 🌳. We had an opportunity to see several Peacocks around the property in their Habitat. Close to the city centre and Lake Pichola it was a perfect location. Food was excellent at the restaurant.

Rooms could be better maintained.

The Location of Property

I opted for Half Board (Paid for Buffet Bfst and Dinner) while checking in at hotel but there was no buffet provided for two days. With kids travelling along with me and feeding them is a challenge.and by not providing buffet gave me less food options for them. Hotel should have clarified at time of checking in and taking advance that buffet will not be provided. Not accepted from a brand like this. Felt like i booked a small guesthouse or an oyo room. There was no hot water for few hours in the morning. Asked to provide extra blanket and team recommended to use AC Hot feature, which is not advisable.
