Great base for walking around he Christchurch area
Bub Lane cottage is a lovely property in a quiet cul de sac. The room is in the owners house. It's well maintained and immaculately clean. The hosts let us get on with things, but were very helpful when we needed some local advice and a taxi to the airport. We paid extra for breakfast, which was fresh and plentiful. We travelled on public transport and walked. We found the property was very convenient and accessible on public transport and on foot. There's a pleasant shortcut to Christchurch town centre across Stanpit Marsh, which took about 20mins. It's about the same to Mudeford Quay to get the ferry over to Hengistbury. You can also take the Breezer Bus 70 at the end of the road all the way to Poole, or Bournemouth. Would recommend and will stay there again if in the area.

Great b and b with good attention to detail
This is a lovely b and b, it’s an immaculate bungalow tucked away down a small driveway. Very peaceful, very comfy bed, great bathroom and shower. The owners are lovely and Michael’s attention to detail is impressive, he goes above and beyond and is always on hand. I’d highly recommend Michael’s continental breakfast - set me up for the whole day. Good quality ingredients. Gorgeous walks and good coffee shops to enjoy - ask Michael!

Was a great relaxing stay - just the job!
Michael and Sue were great hosts - ran an extremely clean establishment and went over and above to help and also make us feel comfortable. I would have no hesitation in booking a return stay. We didn't use it as we only stayed two nights, but the outside space is beautifully presented. Good central location and a great base for exploring the area.
Can't think of anything that we didn't like.

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Michael was a friendly and very welcoming host. The location was good for us as we weren't intending to go into the town centre but that wasn't far away anyway.

Quiet, restful and comfortable - the perfect place to unwind, 15mins walk from the beach. Fabulous room, superb breakfas
The property is delightful. The room was pristine, spacious and homely with a very comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, a desk and chair. The en-suite shower room was equally pristine. Michael is a very kind, friendly and gracious host, offering ideas of places to visit and help booking a restaurant when wanted. The ‘continental breakfast’ was superb with a varied and comprehensive range of cereals/muesli/fruit/toast/croissant etc. Bub Cottage is very well located - a 15minute walk to Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach or 25minutes walk to Christchurch Priory. Highly Recommended

We didn’t have breakfast. Location was fine and there were plenty of things to do locally. Great walks.
