La Restinga is a lovely little town at the far south of El Hierro. Lots of fish restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the accommodation.
Very quiet location.
Good facilities though we didn't cook in the apartment as too busy eating in the restaurants.
You definitely need a car to get around and the roads aren't the easiest to drive on - lots of tight bends and sheer drops.

Clean, roomy.
Overhead lights were really harsh and cold with minimal other options for warmer lights. Pool was closed most of the time we were there. The one afternoon we wanted to rest in the room, the pool was open and everyone at the pool could see straight into the bedroom window, so we had to shut the blinds. No shampoo or bath products.
