Welcome to ElkHEART Escape! You and your family& friends will fall in love with our newly renovated, 4 bedroom/2 Full bath home. Centrally located in the MIDDLE of EVERYTHING Elkhart Lake has to offer!
Step through our original 1912 front door and discover a refreshed, modern version of small-town America. What will you choose to do first? Claim a cozy king, queen or bunk bed? Or maybe uncork that first bottle of wine and head to the deck to relax. Maybe you're hungry...step outside the front door and head to one of Elkhart's AMAZING restaurants...or gather your family and friends around the open concept kitchen/family room, and create an amazing dinner together to enjoy around our large dining table! Maybe you've arrived early and the kids want to head to the beach! Park your vehicle in our 2 car garage, get your swim suits on and load up the wagon or bikes! There's plenty of beach towels and sand toys to bring just a few blocks away to the Firemen’s Beach!
After a fun-filled day you'll want to return to your cozy bedroom and take a relaxing shower...don't worry, there are PLENTY of towels and soft blankets waiting for you! If you have seasoned travelers with you, they will enjoy our first floor bedroom. No need to climb any stairs! You'll spend the night dreaming of how to spend your next days around our AMAZING village! Will you visit Road America to watch a thrilling race? Or maybe you'll head down the road to nearby Sheboygan or Kohler for the day. Elkhart's very own Osthoff Resort offers a relaxing spa day, and the Shore Club's Tiki Bar is where the who's who of Elkhart like to gather for fun nightlife and drinks. Whatever you choose there aren't enough minutes in your day to experience it ALL...you'll just have to come back!
ElkHeart Escape is not like other vacation home rentals. We want to make sure you do not have to think about running to the store for toilet paper, paper towels or even a forgotten toothbrush! We provide EVERYTHING you need for your stay...plenty of paper products, extra toiletries in case you forgot yours at home, towels and luxury hotel pillows and bedding, beach towels, and sand toys!

Spring Forward: Starting around May 25th one of our favorites comes back into town...it's the start of Saturday morning Farmer's Market! Here you will enjoy local artisans and their crafts and indulgences. It's also an amazing time to take a bike ride around town and on local trails. Don't forget to head to the Marsh Park Observation Tower in Sheboygan and watch Spring come alive!
Family Fun in the Summer Sun: This is our family's absolute FAVORITE time to experience all that Elkhart Lake has to offer! We LOVE renting kayaks and paddle boards from the Osthoff Resort, or going out on a boat ride for some on the water with rentals through Elkhart Watersports located within a few blocks of the home. Dining outside at Lake Street Cafe and then getting the kids ice-cream at Gesserts is the ideal way to end a long day at the beach.

Such a wonderful place to stay!! There were plenty of games for our kids (age 2-7) and we enjoyed walking to dinner at night. The place is very clean and kitchen is well stocked to make cooking for the family easy. Highly recommend!

Property worked beautifully as a vacation spot for three couples and several toddlers. Stairs are steep so bring a baby gate if you wish, but everything else was taken care of! Games, toys, towels, you name it.
