This place is lovely. Staff were so friendly. The food at breakfast was fresh and varied. The evening meal was exceptional. The parking is on the unused road outside so fine. The scenery was spectacular. The property was quite old and full of character. The gardens were extensive and left a bit rustic which suited the atmosphere exactly. The room was large and very comfy and so quiet, with a mountain stream outside which was all I could hear. I used the WiFi in the dining room which was fine by me.
No WiFi in the room but sitting in the dining room to use it was fine.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The owner was exceptional in all our conversations, polite, humorous, and friendly. The food was wonderful, especially the evening meal. The bathrooms, bed linen and towels were very clean. The garden was beautiful and it was lovely to eat out there. The dog was very cute.
The bare bedroom walls and all the grey doors, minor things which would just have added a splash of colour and given a better ambiance.
