My husband and I enjoyed the house on beautiful Lake Mitchell. The home was warm and inviting. We took day trips around the upper counties for the Fall Colors. Our house was spotless and our contact Stephanie had direct contact with us.

I'd really give this a 4 and half is able. The location is great, house is nice and well stocked, and the manager was very easy to communicate with. It only gets a little knock for some outdated/ end of life outdoor furniture and dock, and some misses by the cleaning crew. Having to clean a toilet upon arrival, crumbs off the counter, and hair out of the tub is disappointing when you get charged so much for cleaning with these spots. The manager was apologetic and isn't the end of the world, but I can't in good conscious give it a perfect rating otherwise.

We came to Lake Mitchell in Cadillac for a week-long family vacation with our teenagers and twenty-somethings, and had an incredible experience. The property was clean, quiet, and the views were absolutely stunning. Waking up each morning and looking out through all of those windows is something we’ll never forget.The beds were very comfortable, and the entire interior was spotless. The home had everything we could possibly need—tons of spices for cooking, every pot and pan imaginable, a large refrigerator and freezer, and plenty of counter space for preparing meals together. There were more than enough towels provided, along with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable.If we had one small wish, it would be for the patio furniture to be a bit more updated—but that’s truly a minor note compared to everything else the property offered.The homeowner was very kind and accommodating, which we greatly appreciated. Cadillac itself is a fun town to walk around, and we especially recommend checking out The Chunky Bear Coffee Shop (fabulous!) and the local pickleball courts, where you can play while enjoying views of the water.All in all, this was a wonderful stay that gave our family both relaxation and adventure. We are very grateful and highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable vacation spot. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!
