Joe‘s Condo at Isla 33

The condo was large and comfortable. The beds were nice. It was convenient having the restaurant downstairs.

I felt like there could have been some little things included that were missing. There was no salt and pepper, no cooking oil, and only one tiny ice tray. The stove was very hard to light. A few simple additions would have been nice… especially for the price of the condo.

The location is perfect. Live bands every day. Gabriel and his staff at the restaurant- bar downstairs were wonderful and very welcoming. Joe and Antony were awesome too. The view from the pool was amazing.

El condo está muy limpio y bonito, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar las mejores vacasiones, ofrecen juguetes para los niños y sombrillas y sillas para la playa, todo estuvo perfecto, las albercas fueron lo mejor, el lugar es muy tranquilo

El día que llegamos las sábanas de uno de los cuartos estaban mojadas y por lo tanto humedecieron las camas, y no había tuayas de playa porque estaban sucias y mojadas, la secadora estaba llena de ropa y fue difícil lavar así.

The apartment is nicely decorated, spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher,stove, coffee maker. This could have been nice to use if the there was electricity!!! We were stunned to find out upon our arrival (!!!) that the electricity is plugged out for 7 hours a day starting at 7AM!! This power plug means that you also don’t have running water in the toilet and shower!!! Also, the building is far from everywhere. You need to get a taxi every time (or rent a golf cart for the whole stay). Calling a taxi is an issue as there is no one at the so called reception. At the first day we were looking for the apartment and for someone to talk to in general/order a taxi, and couldn’t get anyone for an hour. The whole place feels abandoned. Lastly its right on the road, which is well heard inside.

No electricity for 7 hours a day on a regular and daily basis. This means no running water in the toilets and shower at these hours. This starts at 7AM!! we were notified of this at the day we arrived!!! owner did apologize at the end of the stay but it is outrageous anyway, and not worth the 300 + dollars we paid per night, all in advanced, off course.
