About this cottage rental
Cozy Chub Lake cottage for rent. Suits families. Maximum 6 people. Sheets and towels provided. 1 queen bed, 2 single beds and a bunk bed. No Wifi or satellite/cable. No smoking and no pets. Board games, fire pit and kids toys provided and lots of town entertainment to enjoy. Fridge, electric stove, microwave, propane BBQ, dishwasher and onsite laundry.
Quiet area, very small clean lake. Canoe, row boat and stand up paddle board/kayak conversion included. No boat launch on the lake. Grass shoreline with a shallow sandy beach entry, great swimming, good fishing, South facing. 10 min to down town Huntsville.
Well equipped kitchen.
Please bring bottled water for drinking.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets. Uneven terrain and stairs make this property not suitable for people with limited mobility.

This cottage was amazing. Communication with Cathy was quick and easy. She responded within a timely manner. The lake was so quiet and peaceful. The beach was sandy and easy to walk into water. They provided a canoe or paddleboard to enjoy the water. The view was amazing from the deck,dock or living room. Hard to choose where to sit. Everything was provided within the cottage. Really you just need to bring clothes and food! Definitely a great place to spend time on the water. Hope to rent again!

Weather could have been kinder but no reflection on how this cottage provides a wonderful vacation.

Cathy's cottage was very clean, cozy and as described. We used her stove everyday and never had an issue. It was nice also having use of a dishwasher during our stay. Everything was provided - you only need to pack clothing and food. The view of the lake was the best part of our stay. The lake is small but very calm and peaceful. We went swimming everyday and even went for a boat ride in the row boat provided. My daughter is 3 yrs old and loved the sand area and shallow water - it was perfect for her. We loved the daily visits from the ducks and saw a loon and deer. After a long day of swimming, my daughter also enjoyed lounging on the living room couch at night and watching the DVD's provided. Close proximity to downtown Huntsville was also convenient (about 10 min drive). We will definitely be returning next year.

The cabin was cute and comfortable, and clean. The lake was scenic, and fishing was good. We enjoyed our stay.
