About this house rental
Our beautiful Lake House is situated on Horseshoe Lake in Queens County . It’s nature at it’s very best! Our home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom and is absolutely perfect for a couple of families, 1-4 couples or an extended family. You will find a large living space on both the main and lower levels, a fully equipped kitchen and a large deck on the lakeside. On the lower level, you will find a full living area with comfortable sofas, a large screen TV, and a queen .
On the upper level, there is a master suite with an lovely sofa, lounger and chair for extra privacy. There are 2 other bedrooms with queen beds in each. All the beds are super comfortable with deluxe linen and pillows. The 4 piece bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels and a hair dryer. The house is decorated in a very cosy lakeside theme!
To enjoy the lake, there are two kayaks, a paddle board, and a 16 ft. Canoe all for our guests use during your stay. And plenty of life jackets.
And let’s not forget the Hot Tub! Totally relax in the warmth of 8 person tub as you look out over beautiful Horseshoe Lake. Curl up on any of the comfortable nooks with a good book or enjoy any number of the boards games provided for you.
We are just 1/2 hr from Martock Ski Resort, Sensi Spa or spend the day enjoying the shops in Lunenburg, just a short 1/2 away. And don’t forget Ross Farm that’s always got lots of family activities going on. There’s so much to do ! So, whether you’d like to enjoy a little quiet time, slide on our hill, relax in the hot tub or a day skiing at Martock, you’re going to love the surroundings and decor of this beautiful home.
Special Note: Have more guests than The Red Horseshoe will accommodate. We have a sister chalet on the property, The Country Lake Escape, that can provide accommodations for your extra guests. Just ask! We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible! The nightly pricing is for 4 guests and each additional guest is $25 nightly. Note: This is NOT a party house so if this is how you wish to spend your time, we ask that you do not request a booking. This is a beautiful home which we use for our family and ask that you respect it.

Everything about this rental is simply perfect.Friendly and caring host, amazing location, hot water, tons of space, wifi, comfy couches and beds. And the lake is like a mirror A score of 10!!!

The house was immaculate, hottub was a great bonus. Host checked in with us and was quick to respond to questions. Would recommend this place to everyone! 5 big stars!

This was a wonderful place. We felt so comfortable and home was on a beautiful quiet, lot. The lake was right there at our back yard. Lois and Dave were very helpful with all of our questions and with a quick response time. Highly recommend this home.

Lois & Dave's house is beautiful!
Very clean and perfect for a little retreat away from the hustle and bustle of regular life! The kitchen is fully equipped and the living and dinning room are perfect to relax. We stayed in early December so we were unfortunately unable to use the screened in porch or deck but it would be wonderful on a not sunny day/warm night. The bedrooms where all decorated lovely and there was lots of towel and blankets available for use.
Overall I would recommend the lake house to my friends & family.
