This entire resort is run by Hilton and managed like a hotel. All the units at this resort are managed as part of a common pool. Unit assignments are made at check in. No one has the right to any specific unit.
This means that no owner at this resort can show you pictures of the specific unit you'll receive or the exact view from the unit. If that's critical to you, you'll need to rent at a different resort.
Allocating units from a single pool like a hotel, has important advantages for you, the guest.
First, there's no risk that you'll get a unit with tacky left over furniture from the 70s, or that hasn't been cleaned well, or with ancient non-working appliances. All the units are furnished by Hilton and are identical on the inside.
Second, procedures for check in are simple. No matter who you rent from, you get your electronic card keys at the same front desk and have the same use of all the on-property amenities.

If you cancel more than 35 days prior to check in , you will receive a partial refund based on the time remaining until check in:

Overall the resort, suite, and location were great. The only downside was that when we arrived we were told that we had reserved a garden view. We were under the impression that there suites were allocated in no particular manner and any suite in the tower could be assigned to us. Apparently, this is not exactly true, there are still designated “types” of suites. Had we known this we would have booked a different way and paid a little more for an ocean view. The balcony was nice, but the garden is where they have private events, so some night were a little loud, but we could see the luau on Friday night for free, which was a perk.
