Entire Villa in Cabo Roig, Costa Blanca. Sleeps 6 with private outdoor area

Communication was slow prior to arrival but when we had issues at property Breda was quick to respond. We Had trouble finding WI-FI password and pool key/fob location, but was quickly resolved. A booklet/instructions in the property with basic information eg WiFi details, aircon instructions etc would be very helpful. The second room with bunkbeds had a very musty smell and the bed covers smelt of this too ( could smell on my sons hair) I assumed not been washed in a while as maybe not used? The biggest downfall is that the whole accommodation does not have air con, only the 2 bedrooms and this has to be paid for whilst staying there using a meter system ( 1 or 2 ) which is not stated in the details of the accommodation when booking. We spent approx 1-2 a day. In 40 degree we found this to be insufficient. The location and pool facilities were excellent with friendly local residents. The Villa was clean with lots of additional towels and varied kitchen equipment. Overall the property is good value for money.

Property is compact but adequate for family of 4. Located close to communal pool. Kitchen well stocked with cutlery and utensils. TV with various apps to cater for all tastes. Air con in bedrooms only. Quiet neighbourhood with on street parking. An information pack on arrival would have been beneficial to understand nearest shopping / attractions, how to use WiFi etc. Nearest supermarket was a 15-20min walk or 5min in car. Nearest selection of bars / restaruants were about 15min walk, but was small bar about 5min walk. Communication was a real challenge. Told issue with AC in one room wasn’t working and would get some fans to compensate but these never arrived. Points to be aware of not stated in description. Electricity is on a coin operated meter, was in negative equity when we arrived. You need to take your own sunbed to the communal pool, but these are provided in storage on the roof. Safe doesn’t work (asked for assistance but no response). No ironing board, iron was questionable. Duvet needed a wash as was dirty. Bunk beds could do with securing to the wall, move around a lot when top bunk being used.
