About this house rental
This holiday home with lovely views over the town of Souillac and its hilly mountains, is located in the heart of the Perigord Noir, also known as the cradle of prehistory. Restaurants are within walking distance. You can enjoy the beautiful night sky while drinking a nice glass of wine ... The house is tastefully decorated and offers all you need during your well earned holidays - House is suitable up to 6 adults + 2 children/babies.
Interior
Comfortable holiday home, in the living room you can find a comfortable sitting area (but you will spend most of your time outside). The kitchen is open and has sliding doors towards the terrace. There are three bedrooms, all of them upstairs and two bathrooms.
Outside
There is a partially fenced garden and a lovely terrace. Whether you're sitting on the terrace with sun beds and umbrellas around or refreshing yourself in your private pool (9 x 5 m, depth 1.20 m), the view of the wooded hills and the nearby castle remains great.
Surroundings
You find many magnificent sights like the caves of Lascaux (25 km) with prehistoric paintings and drawings. The cliff dwellings of La Roque Saint Christophe (6 km) with a beautiful view over the Vezere Valley and fossil excavations of prehistoric man ‘Les Eyzies-de-Tayac’ (4 km). The Perigord is dotted with medieval towns like Le Bugue (10 km), Sarlat-la-Caneda (21 km), Belvès (24 km) and Domme (35 km). These are so picturesque that you would like to wander through all the streets. Browse the many antique shops and enjoy a drink at one of the many terraces. Spend also a visit to one of the lively ‘farm markets’ with delicious local products. The nearby river Dordogne (0.5 km) is ideal for a canoe ride or to enjoy a swim at one of the beaches. 18-hole golf course can be found in Souillac ..

Heerlijke vakantie gehad in een heerlijk huis. Het is ruim, comfortabel met een mooi vrij uitzicht. We hebben regen gehad en ook heel warm weer en in beide gevallen is het huis heel fijn. Het terras is ruimer dan wij hadden ingeschat op de foto's. Wij hebben er met plezier lang getafeld. Dorpje is lopend goed bereikbaar. Een huis om aan te bevelen!

We zijn inmiddels aanbeland op onze laatste avond in Maison La Bonne Vie. Het is een erg mooi huis van bijna alle gemakken voorzien! We hebben erg genoten van de ruimte, het grote balkon en natuurlijk het heerlijke zwembad! Wat een luxe. Ook het eten bij Le Gouffre was een groot succes. Heerlijk gegeten op een geweldige locatie. Toppunt van een relaxte vakantie.
Dank voor de vouchers, ze waren dus erg goed besteed!
