About this house rental
Furnished home on 1 acre with outdoor living and a hot tub! Country feel with city conveniences, just 7 miles to Historic Downtown McKinney. Outdoor living area includes stone wood-burning fireplace with cedar mantle. Kitchen features custom cabinets, granite countertops, hardwood floors. Private master suite with king-sized bed, walk-in closet, granite countertops, framed mirrors, oversized master shower with frameless glass. 2nd bedroom with a king bed, 3rd bedroom with two twin xl beds that each have an adjustable base, and a daybed with trundle in the study can sleep two more. Wood front door, new 2019 carpet and paint, all appliances including refrigerator washer and dryer. Sleeps 8 peoople comfortably

Our stay at Meadow retreat for a month was overall good ! We very much enjoyed the outdoor patio/ fireplace/ and hot tub…however there were some disappointing things.The stairs and deck around the hot tub made us all uneasy when we walked on them and the outdoor tv didn’t work and the owner was contacted and she ordered a new one but was never brought to the house for us to use. The overall cleanliness of the house was was a little disappointing…( some kitchen items had to be washed, we didn’t put things in the bathroom drawers because they were not clean.The condition of some kitchen items needed updating We did enjoy our time in Texas with family!

We were so happy to come across this property while we were searching for a place to stay in McKinney. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and we loved the way it was decorated - so personable. I loved sitting on the porch drinking my coffee in the mornings. It was the perfect “home base” for us as we all went about our days. The fan on the air conditioner quit working one day, and within a few hours of us notifying the owner, it had been fixed. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

If you are looking for a quiet location that is within 10 minutes of old town McKinney, or within 10 minutes drive to Princeton, this house is for you. We rented this house for two weeks while we transitioned to a new home. This house is well insulated, and will keep you cool and warm. All amenities you require.
