About this cottage rental
Bask in the picturesque view of Oneida Lake in our modern beachfront duplex. Located in the heart of Sylvan Beach, right next to Harpoon Eddie’s!
This unit is located on the main level of the Sandcastle Duplex. It is Sandcastle #2. (We also have the Cuckoo Cottage and the upper Sandcastle unit available.)
Perfectly sized with two bedrooms - the first bedroom has a double and the second has a bunk- full on bottom, twin on top (150lb weight limit.) The open floor plan living area has a love seat & dining for 4, with a television for some inside entertainment. The kitchen is equipped with a range, microwave, Keurig, and refrigerator. All pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and silverware are provided. We offer free WiFi, cable TV, and AC!
** If you have more friends and family joining you, we also have two more units available for vacationing! (The Sandcastle on the upper level --VRBO Property ID 9204385 and the Cuckoo Cottage directly across from the duplex --VRBO Property ID 1400366) **
*Bring your own bed linens, pillows, blankets, towels, toiletries, and wash cloths as these are not provided.
There is a charcoal grill
There is a picnic table & Adirondack chairs outside for use. Please close umbrella if winds pick up.
There is a private shared (free) parking space. Located past the pavilion behind the bank.
No need to check-in as there is a coded entry. You will receive a message prior to check-in with your code.
** Check-in is 3pm and check-out is 11am.*
If you need a late check-out, you will need to let us know ahead of time & will be charged an extra fee. **
The Eastern Shore of Oneida Lake is shallow, sandy, and is great for kids and adults of all ages. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, fishing, watch the kids play in the sand, do water sports, check out the boats along the canal, or rent a boat from a nearby marina! Be sure to check out an Events Calendar as there is much happening all summer long!
Become a kid again at Historic Sylvan Beach Amusement Park, just a short walk down the road! Enjoy dining and entertainment at Harpoon Eddie’s - right next door! Try your luck or see a show at Turning Stone Casino - It’s about a 20 minute drive. Bet on the horses at Vernon Downs Racing. Experience trendy shopping and dining at Destiny USA in Syracuse. Visit the Lake House, a short walk down the beach!

You cant beat this location! You are on the lake, next to everything you could need! This is the perfect getaway for a small family or couples retreat

We booked this property as a compliment to our parents staying at Verona Beach camping. We skipped the tent and went for this little cottage. We absolutely loved waking up in the morning and opening the door to see the lake. It was plenty of room as the outside was where we wanted to be more than inside. A quick walk to the amusement area and a great meal at Harpoon Eddies. We did breakfast daily at the Pancake House. The kids loved the bunk beds. The shower was amazing. We will return. Thank you for having this place as an available option when we come to see grandma all the way from Chicago. Parking was easy as well with the parking pass.

The bed need better mattress. My wife hsd to sweep ghe floors all sand. Will mot being staying there again.
