The perfect home-away-from-home awaits! A gas fireplace keeps this home warm and cozy no matter how much snow is falling outside. Visiting skiers will enjoy the close proximity to the Steamboat Ski Resort. While the Gondola is less than a mile from this rental and the base of the mountain itself is just a little over a mile away, this home is just steps from the free Steamboat Transit shuttle stop for quick, safe, and easy trips to the Gondola and downtown. In the summer, you can hike the resort or head out on one of the other trails in the surrounding mountains (the Yampa River Core Trail for hiking and biking is close by). If the kids have are joining you, make a stop just two miles north of the home at Amaze'n Steamboat Family Fun Park for activities such as mini golf and laser tag. If you're looking for a more relaxing way to spend your time, make the brief three mile drive up to Old Town Hot Springs for a dip in the steamy waters that are sure to calm your weary muscles.
Enjoy a movie or your favorite show on one of the smart, flatscreen TVs, dive into one of the provided books, or challenge one another to a popular board game or something exciting on the Sony PlayStation. You can also whip up delicious meals in the full kitchen.

Place was very nice, very cleaned and well stocked. Bus stop right outside the door for easy access for skiing. Great stay, would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. The kitchen is ON POINT, with lots of utensils and spices in the cupboard. Well stocked. Very comfortable place with a great little back porch and comfortable beds.

Excellent location on the east side of town. Quiet neighborhood.
Spacious rooms with comfortable sofas, beds, bedding and linens.
Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, glassware, plates, and spices, herbs and oil for cooking meals in the comfort of home away from home.

The property is nice- clean, well stocked, comfortable sofas and beds. The owners thought of everything. I chose it as its on the first floor and it stays relatively cool in the hot summer afternoons. However, it looks out on another property’s parking lot which can be noisy and unpleasant (there is a berm and some trees between but exhaust, lights and conversations are right there.) You can also hear the walking and conversations from the upstairs neighbors- who were not loud and very nice. It’s just the building itself. The main issue was the difficulty I had with vacasa- there were some minor issues that were not addressed and there was no local number. Vacasa eventually tried to make amends and this was appreciated but this didn’t excuse the two weeks it took to get a response about the broken dryer, weird noises from the fire alarm, missing propane tank, and loss of hot water. And the local response was a very apologetic guy who didn’t realize the unit was still occupied when he just walked in to fix the dryer. Hello!
