With the tranquil sound of the West Fork River nearby, the cabin is a relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Only 25 miles from the Lost Trail Pass and minutes from the Blue Ribbon trout waters of the Bitterroot River and the numerous hiking trails up the West Fork, Base Camp puts you in the center of the best the area has to offer. Base Camp has room for RVs, trucks, and ATV or horse trailers for all of your parking needs. The cozy cabin sleeps 6-8, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and an inviting living area. The cabin is the perfect launching point for your Bitterroot vacation.

We used the house as a base for fishing the Bitterroot River. There is a great spot with lots of fish just 200 yards from the backyard. Lots of wildlife in the area, including a flock of turkeys that makes its rounds through the yard every afternoon. The house has everything you need to make an enjoyable trip, including a well-stocked kitchen and a comfortable living room. This is our second year at this location, and we recommend it for a great Montana experience.

The house is perfect as a base for skiing at Lost Trail. My family have stayed at this house before and it never disappoints.

Parking area plowed nicely for our arrival of 4 days. We had great communication w the family who owns it. It was really clean, beds super comfy, showers great. Lots of room. Each gal had a bed to themselves. Great rates. Kitchen huge and well stocked w p
