Great place to stay to explore the surrounding areas, would recommend

Great location for exploring, walkable to Avignon centre 35 mins or buses available every 15 mins. Property has everything you need.

If you’re looking for total quiet just be mindful the main bedroom is across from a bar/restaurant. Was only noisy one night as was bastille day but otherwise perfect.

Very clean. Washer and dryer. Air conditioner . Very well appointed with nice furnishings. Close to shops and restaurants. Good place to stay to visit Avignon. Would definitely stay here again.

Off site parking so had to park on the sidewalk to load and unload baggage. Plenty of free off site parking within 3 block walk.

Dated Apartment

Location good only if you have a car which we didn't. Good cafes nearby and very small supermarket. Good to have use of a washing machine. Has a lot of appliances however are dated.

Difficult to get a good night's sleep as the curtains were translucent which made the room bright all the time with the street light at night and sun in the morning. Needs blockout curtains. Beds were uncomfortable. The one in the bedroom with aircon was hard and noisy so caused disturbance to your partner. The WIFI was extremely slow and TV didn't work. Apartment had bad odour due to cooking smells from previous people. Apartment is dated.

This spacious and light apartment is situated right in the centre of Villeneuve. The decor is lovely and the facilities top notch. We found it to be comfy and very clean.

Charming, cosy, warm, well equipped and located apartment in the heart of stonehouse village.

Cosy, well furnished and decorated aprtment in in a picturesque village setting, next to medieval church and lots of restaurants and shops. Nor far from Avignon. Large, well furnished bedrooms. Lovely landlords that were very hospitable and helpful with internet problems. Amazing warm decor and atmosphere that makes you want to stay there forever!

Even when it worked, the internet is slow and weak. The dining room chairs and living room couch, although charming, were not very comfortable for a longer stay. As mentioned in a previous review. It would be nice to have a bread knife

Exceptional place to stay

We decided in late 2019 that we would like to base ourselves in Southern France and take some time, (4 weeks) to see Provence – we wanted to be travellers and not tourists this time. To take the time to see places like Aix-en-Provence, Apt, Gordes, St Remy, Chateauneuf-des-Papes, The Luberon, Camargue, Marseille etc. We did our research which suggested that basing ourselves in, or around, Avignon would be best. For logistical and costs reasons Villeneuve-lez-Avignon seemed best. We stayed at the Bel Apartement for 4 weeks. The Accommodation – 2 bedroom unit, each bedroom was a large with large double bed, lovely linen, double glazes windows and plenty of cupboard and hanging storage. We were a party of two so the spare bedroom provided an area for ironing, reading, napping etc. One bedroom, which overlooked the nearby restaurants, church and street had a verandah and writing desk. Both bedrooms had bedside lights The Kitchen was a full operational home kitchen. Microwave, large oven, cooktops, coffee makers (capsule and drip), good size refrigerator, kettle, cutlery, mugs, wine and other glasses plates etc, pots, pans, frying pans etc All there!! The dining / lounge room - a medium sized table that seats 6. The lounge area had two very comfortable lounge chairs. The TV is fed internet box and provides a lot a French language stations, five or so English language news channels and a few other language channels. This is a lovely space to relax. The bathroom has a shower in bath arrangement which is easy to use and works well. The floor has safety mats. There is a washing machine and dryer inside cupboards in the bathroom. They too are easy to use – there are Manuals for everything in the property. For many reasons this is an exceptional place to stay. The accommodation is: 1. Clean, comfortable, well resourced 2. In a beautiful locality – close to shops (Boulangerie, butchers, grocery shop, restaurants, bars) - In the middle of Villeneuve town (but no hustle or b

This is one of the best apartment hotels we have ever stayed in France. Very good taste of interior decoration, comfortable, cozy, peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. Enough supply of toilet paper. In many other places owners are very stingy for not supplying enough, but here very good. We had a wonderful stay in Avignon. Thank you Hélène! Bravo!

These are not negative comments. We mean some suggestions for better or information you better know in advance: 1The key was in a safe box at the entrance but a little difficult to find. We called the owner and solved the problem. 2There is no private parking but there are many public place for parking. We had no problem with parking but 2 minutes away. 3 The shower partition is not big enough so that lot of water sprinkled outside the tub. Better make a longer panel or install the shower only removing the tub (like a Italian shower). 4 It is very slow to fill the toilet water tank. A bit inconvenience. I think you can do something about it. 5 The bed room is on the 1st floor facing a busy street. In the morning cars' noise is a bit annoying but not serious problem for us. 6 In front of the living room there is a cafe-bistoro. Every evening except Sunday many guests are there and a bit noisy till midnight. We didn't care much. Sometimes you can enjoy live music for free!

Absolutely wonderful, charming, quiet, clean, comfortable appartment. Walking distance (approx 20 min) to the interesting places in Avignon. Buses also available. Good choice of places to eat. We had a wonderful stay in Villeneuve-lez-Avignon.

Most charming flat brilliantly situated just over the river from Avignon so an easy walk or bus ride Beautifully clean with everything necessary for a relaxed and easy stay. Very hot water and the flat warmed up very quickly when the radiators we put on Charming Helene was so friendly and welcoming

The location and setting of the apartment is perfect. We loved all the little touches to the apartment, it was like home from home.
