About this house rental
Vista Vejer offers stylish accommodation and enjoys rural views up to the sparkling-white hilltop town of Vejer, just a 3 km drive away.
Set on the edge of the village, this charming cottage invites guests to unwind and relax in the pretty terraced gardens with its vine-covered terrace and generously sized pool. In the evenings, nearby Vejer’s cosmopolitan atmosphere and large choice of Spanish, French, Italian and Moroccan restaurants may tempt you, although closer to home, Santa Lucia’s excellent La Tajea or La Castilleria serve some of the best cuisine in the area.
It’s hard to tear yourself away from this relaxing spot but with the golden sandy uncrowded beaches of this unsophisticated coastline, the many interesting historic cities and whitewashed villages all within a short drive, there is plenty to explore.

We had a very pleasant 5 weeks here. The villa is well-appointed with high quality mattresses and bed linen, well equipped kitchen and nice gardens. The pool is big enough to actually swim in and the sunbeds, towels etc are all of good quality. The rooms are all large and airy and nicely decorated. The two main bedrooms open to the front courtyard, which also has sunbeds and a sitting area. The 1st floor bedroom has its own terrace. The rear terrace is covered and has a large dining table as well as bbq and large sofas. No shortage of shade.
There is lots to do in the area. We recommend: (1) the local sculpture park - this is a good place to walk and the tickets are valid for seven days, (2) Brabate local market for excellent veg, fish and meat, (3) Plaza espana in Vejer for nice restaurants and the opportunity to walk around the town, (4) Medonia Sidonia is worth exploring.
The host can recommend some local restaurants - we found the Patria to be excellent, Le Dolce Vita on the beach is good. La Muela Italian is close and good for lunch. Further afield Cadiz is worth a visit and Triafa is fun. Donana national park boat trip was not worth doing.
In short an excellent experience.
