About this hotel

The Hotel
Our hotel is beautifully located in the middle of Finnish nature and has nine two persons rooms. These are cosy and simply furnished, completely in the atmosphere that matches the area where the hotel is located. Each room has standard comfortable beds, a shared shower and toilet per floor and a fantastic view. On the second floor you will find the kitchen where in a cosy setting you will be able to cook your own meal. There is a seating area with a fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen, including a coffee maker, kettle, oven, stove and cooking utensils. Every morning we provide a delicious and healthy breakfast and you can use our sauna between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. There is no more authentic way to start the morning!
Ruka
The hotel is located on Lake Kitka, the largest unregulated lake and natural freshwater spring in Finland and is about a ten-minute drive from Ruka. Ruka is a mountain area in the municipality of Kuusamo. The airport is also located in Kuusamo. In Ruka and the surrounding area you can hike, there are many water sport possibilities and you can completely relax and unwind in unspoilt nature. Ruka is there for ideally suited for relaxing and activities.
Activities
The hotel is an ideal starting point for activities. Hiking through the national parks, supping on beautiful Lake Kitka, admiring the northern lights with a sled pulled by huskies, ice fishing on Lake Kitka and in Ruka, visiting the sauna, cold water baths, fishing or photographing and much more.
