Clean, comfortable with easy access to train station and grocery store.

The location within walking distance to train and grocery store, it was comfortable with both a clothes and dish washer. Jon and Stephen were always willing to be helpful.

Comfortable and a convenient place to stay

Warm and comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen very serviceable for a short term stay. Beds comfortable. Washing machine excellent.

TV signal poor - we used our own subscription service throughout. Traces of mold on bathroom and bedroom windows. Dishwasher too small to wash plates and larger items. At least one nail sitting proud of the floorboards on living room. Generally a lot of cracks in wall plaster and decorations just made the flat feel less special. Small things matter at the price.

Could be so much better

Lovely property, and well positioned in dumfermline for what we was here for, very spacious and had everything we needed.

Unfortunately we found that the apartment could do with a deep clean, and found that things was looking tired, we travel for a family funeral, my brother in-law had the cold bedroom which is the biggest of the two, but ended up sleeping as best he could on the sofa because of the noise coming from the apartment downstairs, so unfortunately he had a terrible experience!!! This property could be beautiful with just a little time effort and a little money spent on it!

Peaceful stay in Dunfermline

Jon and Stephen were in constant contact with us, responding quickly to our messages. The apartment was very specious, peaceful with window views onto beautiful greenery. We enjoyed large smart TV with lots of app and channel choices. Kitchen had all appliances we needed. Emma is an excellent cleaner, everything was tidy and clean. Location was perfect for us, short bus ride to the centre of town, train station just 10 min walk away to get to Edinburgh.

Living room sofa set could use an upgrade. Jon and Stephen probably presumed that everyone knows how security deposit and pre-authorisation works, but we didn't. It caused us a bit of stress, seeing another deposit amount being hold after about 6 days of our stay. Here is a bit of info for those who plan to stay more than 5 nights: For a stay that is more than 5 nights Uplisting (vacation rental software) pre-authorise the security deposit after every 5 days. This is because the hold on security deposit is automatically released on the 7th day after the last pre-authorisation. Uplisting re-authorise every 5 days to ensure the host have access to the security deposit. That can create an overlap of deposit amount for about 2 days. If the pre-authorisation is unsuccessful, the security deposit amount will be charged on the guest's card. The host will need to refund the deposit manually from Stripe.

A perfect home from home

Well located with easy access to Dunfermline city centre and both train & road routes to all major cities; exceptionally well furnished; clean and nicely decorated; comfortable beds and sofas. clear instructions from the hosts.

Not much to moan about ! Wi-Fi is a bit flaky in the front bedroom and neighbours are a bit noisy under the back bedroom but nothing to really disrupt your stay.

Good location, train station with direct train to Edinburgh less than 10 min walk, easy parking on ground, big flat, overall clean, everything available including coffee/tea for a smooth start, well working shower

Beautiful well-equipped apartment, quiet location but easy access to major routes.

Lovely and clean, well equipped, very comfortable beds. Nice location with parking. Really good pub / restaurant less than 10 minutes walk away.

No holder / rack in shower to hold toiletries. Just a minor inconvenience, in an otherwise excellent apartment.

The apartment was beautifully presented and the Owners very helpful and accommodating. The place is immaculate, central to roots into the town and beyond via Bus, Car, etc. Would definitely recommend.

Second time we’ve stayed. Lovely big apartment with great bed and great big bath. We will be booking again in the future, we visit family in the area and it is reasonably priced and gives us a great base

This was a lovely big apartment,perfect for our 3 day stay to family, the bed was comfortable and the bath was huge.Lots of space and nicely furnishings.We had our dog with us to so that’s a bonus.We will be booking again as we visit Dunfermline about 3 times a year
