Heart of Elmwood Village - Entire Apartment - Historic beauty - 3-4 BR sleeps 8

This property was in the perfect location for my visit to Buffalo. I did not rent a car because I intended to walk around the neighborhoods and some of the nearby places of interest. I was a block from Elmwood Avenue and about the same from Delaware Avenue. I was in the heart of the city with the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Delaware Park, Buffalo Zoo and Allentown district within easy walking distance for me. Not having a car was a plus as parking can be tricky in that part of the city.The space was large and comfortable. I spent a lot of time on the front porch. My only negative critique is the linens need to be updated. The bathroom linens were old and stained and the sheets on the double bed I used were for a king sized bed and they were uncomfortable to sleep on. HOWEVER, that being said, there were 4 other beds there and I could have easily tried another bed, which I did not do.Overall this was a logistically perfect place to explore this beautiful part of the city.The owners were accommodating and helpful with a couple of issues I had, mostly because I am older and have little patience with the new technology.This is a great place for exploring part of the history of Buffalo.

Overall 3-4/5 stars- this was a great stay for what we needed! Location was perfect, felt safe, plenty of sleeping space! The house was a bit warm, one bedroom had a small AC unit that worked great, fans only elsewhere and it was quite hot, but given the age of the home (which had very cute charm!) I think this is expected! Beds, linens and provided towels were clean, but some areas lacking in the cleanliness department. For example: Used towels left hanging on hooks in one bedroom, old kitchen sponge provided to wash dishes (no dishwasher- also fine) but quite smelly, quite a few ants roaming about. We stayed one night and again, it was great for what we needed, as we weren’t there for much other than a bathroom and place to sleep for an event near by, but likely wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights here unfortunately. Provided amenities were a nice touch (shampoo/conditioner, coffee, sugar, tea). Host was friendly and check in/out was a breeze! Appreciated the off street parking, but warning- the shared drive access is extremely NARROW. We barely fit through in our standard sedan and still even hit our mirror on the way out, our fault, but just a heads up!!

Great location, very spacious apartment.

Blankets and sheets were not clean. Kitchen was dirty and we had to watch the counters too. Shower is a suggestion with the water pressure being so minimal.
