Sungulwane Private Game Lodge

We stayed there two nights. It is a lovely place. It’s easily acceptable by a car to the lodge, we even saw lots of animals on the way. It’s all inclusive, with very nice rooms and super attentive, friendly staff. You get two game drives a day. Our guide/Ranger was Neil and he was amazing. A variable fountain of information. On each game drive we consistently saw four of the big five, minus the elusive leopard. And it was not for a lack of trying on Neil’s part , just could not find the leopards. But everything else was great. Shoutout to the amazing staff lead by Noks and Sohki. Excellent servers at the restaurant- Sim, Zola and Khanyi excellent food and prepared in a very lovely fashion. My wife got two massages, sorry I’m blanking on the massage person, but my wife enjoyed that and it was quite reasonable for an hour massage. Easily would stay there again for both the fantastic game viewing, super attentive, and friendly staff, and great location in South Africa. Thanks guys!! We also enjoyed the intimacy of the lodge - I think only 8 or 9 rooms and when we arrived there was only 5 of us there. We were joined by a lovely Soith African couple and there 12 yo son. There is a lovely pool with lounge chairs to relax between game drives. Room was large with a huge shower/bathroom with floor to ceiling windows plus an outside shower. Nyala frequented just outside our room. Food is served in an open environment or inside. The open environment has a watering hole where we also saw plenty of game, mainly antelope varieties and a few warthogs, but it was lovely nonetheless. It was truly an amazing place. Would love to come back soon.
