Beautiful and well equipped house and the garden, nice to stay with a family.
A bit too cold house in April, especially for a child. We managed to dig some dry woods to burn in the fireplace. Luckily there were air heating pumps in the sleeping rooms.

Everything was great and we had a fabulous week. We rented both houses for 11 of us and they’re very clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely as are the grounds. Staff are super helpful and responsive. Highlight of our trip was finding the tortoises in the garden by the shed - they enjoyed a few outings in the garden and some lettuce leaves. Also, Calcata is hugely interesting historically and a stunning old village with some lovely restaurants and plenty to see.
