Friendly host, good facilities

The host was waiting for me and spotted me as I arrived. That was very helpful. I had a lot of space, and drinking water was supplied. I enjoyed the botanical gardens, and visiting the Jardin Borda.

I seemed to walk a long way to get to places from here. I wasn't sure when to get off the bus when I arrived, maybe my fault.

Simply more than comfortable

The room was beautiful and shiny of cleanliness. It was like to be at home.

To stay one night, I do not have any complaint except because I have been asking for the invoice several times after my stay during march and until today April 1st. I do not receive that document (Invoice-CFDI). On Monday March 27, I received a text message advising that the invoice should be issued soon but it did not happen. On april 1st, I tried to call with the owner but the phone rings without any response.

Very comfortable and charming owner.

I stayed one night and had a very comfortable night’s sleep. The owner is very hospitable. She doesn’t speak English, but we communicated well with Google translate. Breakfast wasn’t included, but she gave me a cup of coffee and biscuits before I left in the morning to go sightseeing. When I returned in the afternoon, I planned to order Uber to take me to the bus station, but she offered to take me. Highly recommended!

A lovely house with a lovely host

The house was lovely/clean etc, and the shower was also nice, hot and powerful, but what made this place so nice was Maria. I've travelled a lot, and I think she must be the nicest, most welcoming, sweetest BnB/hotel host I've ever stayed with. Many people say this in reviews, but she really did make us feel at home. She also has a lovely little dog called Nina, who unlike some other dogs at other places I have stayed, is extremely well behaved, well trained and quiet We didn't meet her son, but if he's a tenth as nice as Maria is, then he must be amazing too. If you are reading this, you must stay here!!!

The best place to stay in Cuernavaca! Clean and cozy with the most friendly hostess. The room was beautiful and a very comfortable bed provided a good night sleep. Segure and quiet neighbourhood. Could not have been happier with my accommodation in Cuernavaca.

Everything. A spacious and comfortable house. Full kitchen. Hot water worked. Extremely fast and reliable Wi-Fi. Most of all Maria, her son Alberto and Nina the dog are just kind, fun and exceptionally welcoming people (and canine)

About a mile to the center of Cuernavaca. But I knew that when I rented the room. plenty of public transportation and I love to walk.

It was such a pleasure to stay at Maria’s house. She is very helpful and friendly. Her house is so cozy and comfy.

Everything is perfect, just the location of the house is farther from centre but it wasn’t problem for us. On other hand it is very close to Walmart is you need to shop.

Great place and host- unforgettable!

Dona Maria was such a fantastic host! Great energy, very warm,helpfull and lifting you up from any mellow mood! The room was very nice, clean and with nice little details arranged. We could use any facilities we wanted. The location wasnt far from bus terminal.

If you sleep with window open the street noise can get a bit up which is weird because is a really small street- with low traffic.

The hosts were super friendly and professional, and also very flexible regarding special requirements we had. Location was perfect with lots of eateries nearby, close to the center and easy to find taxis. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay in Cuernavaca. The host Maria and her son are the best hosts I have ever met. They are really nice, and are always ready to solve your problems. Ms Maria drove me to the city center and recommended me a really good cafeteria; her son gave me all information I needed to explore Cuernavaca. The house itself is very very clean, with fantastic dinning room, sitting room and balcony. This is like another home in Mexico… I will give the property 10.5/10, the extra 0.5 is for Ms Maria and her son.

Wonderful Stay in Cuernavaca

The Aruma is like a home away from home. It's slightly north of downtown Cuernavaca, but with easy transportation options to everything the city has to offer. Maria, the host, is a great source of information and access to the kitchen and other areas of the house made for a pleasant stay.

Realy helpful and very nice staff. Nice big and clean room. You can also use living room, kitchen and other room with balcony. Unfortunately we can't spend more nights we really liked this place and rest there was great.

House is not in the city center but it is not big problem. Walk to the zocalo takes 20min and you can also use taxi. Don't be worried about location it is good address.

Wonderful Stay with Maria, I will come back! :)

*The house and room are beautiful and clean. *Safe neighborhood. I went running early in the mornings and did not have any issues. *Maria and his son are super nice, friendly and helpful. I spent a lot of time with Maria, going to have dinner, going to the center, cooking together, walking the dog. It was wonderful!! :) *You can have privacy if wanted. *The kitchen is well equipped and you have sufficient space in the fridge. *There is drinking water for free. * There is hot water in the shower and the water pressure is good. (not always the case in Mexico ;)) *Parking space available in a locked space. I can really recommend it to everyone! I think it's good for couples, families, however also for solo travellers like myself, as Maria is very caring and sociable.

*Minor point: There might me locations closer to the center.

Amazing homestay feel & nice rooms

The owner make you feel like home - they are so warm and welcoming. It was an incredible stay. The room was comfortable and clean, there's a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with Netflix. The neighbourhood is quiet and there's cheap good food around. It's easy to catch the bus to both Tepoztlán or the centre. :) they happily help you with any doubt or questions you have.

Nuestro alojamiento de una noche en Aruma Cuernavaca fue exactamente lo que necesitábamos para este fin de semana familiar. La comunicación con los encargados fue clara y amable desde el inicio. Con las facilidades fue posible llegar con tranquilidad y acomodarnos en el espacio a nuestros tiempos. Encontramos habitaciones cómodas y limpias con amenidades adecuadas, para luego, a la mañana siguiente, contar con lo necesario para tomar café y té antes de despedirnos de forma personal con la dueña quien nos trató de forma muy cálida.

Absolutamente todo: la ubicación es inmejorable, la habitación súper cómoda y privada; el baño accesible y limpio; las instalaciones acojedoras. Hospedarte en Aruma recuerda la comodidad de tu propia casa. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor del alojamiento es la atención. Los host son personas lindísimas, me recibieron con una calidez y amabilidad insuperables. Recomiendo ampliamente hospedarse en Aruma si buscas una estancia agradable y cómoda.

Mia placut casa unde am locuit, totul a fost extraordinar si cel mai mult mi a placut de doamna Maria , proprietara casei, Care este o persoana spéciala cu o inima mare. Ne a ajutat din prima clipa cu orice am avut nevoie si ne a facut sa ne simtim ça acasa. Iar catelul ei Nina este o companie adorabila.
