The hostel is really well located in the centre of Kanoya, but still nice and quiet. There is free parking available. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Dorms are clean and beds are comfortable. I had a whole dorm to myself, so lots of privacy.
I found the kitchen facilities a bit confusing. Lots of spaces for staff members, but no clarity on what you can use as a guest. Was missing more cutlery. The kirchen space itself is inviting though.

Two different male staff opened the door and walked into the women’s dorm room in the evening while women were present. They don’t even knock and announce their presence prior to entering. Women could be changing their clothes right there in front of the door.
