Located in Bajamar, a gated golf community an hour south of the Tijuana border, Casa Peggy sits on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Newly remodeled with cantara volcanic stone floors and hand painted tiles, this comfortable five bedroom/ 4.5 bath villa is centered around a large patio with a pool. With an open floor plan, ocean views can be enjoyed from the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Enjoy watching dolphins, whales, and sunsets from the ocean deck.
Casa Peggy features a well-stocked gourmet kitchen with handmade Oaxacan ceramic dishware, a 5-burner gas stove, all new appliances and ample granite countertops to prepare your favorite meals. The house has two king, three queen and one full bed. We have a whole-house, reverse osmosis water purification system so all of the water in the house is safe to drink. A gas barbecue in a protected patio with views provides extra cooking space. An extra refrigerator in the garage ensures plenty of space for cold drinks.
The living room has floor to ceiling 17-foot windows with ocean views, a wood-burning fireplace and a 70 inch HDTV. Internet is provided through new fiberoptic cable. The large master bedroom features windows along two sides to enjoy ocean breezes. A unique feature is the loft bedroom with expansive ocean views.
Casa Peggy was built in 1976 on one of the largest oceanfront lots in Bajamar by a local noted architect. Completely renovated over the past year, the house includes many modern updates. The house comes with tennis rackets, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and yoga mats.
The comfortable bedrooms feature premium Tuft and Needle mattresses. The bathrooms are finished with hand-painted tiles and sinks from central Mexico and Morocco. The stunning master bathroom hosts a glass-enclosed roman tub and shower from which to watch the whales while you bathe.
Bajamar’s extensive property provides ample opportunity for hiking, running and biking. The 27-hole golf course includes Pebble Beach style holes along the ocean. Enjoy meals at the clubhouse or a drink in the bar. Pickleball courts are located a block from the house.
Bajamar’s location 30 minutes south of Rosarito and 40 minutes north of Ensenada makes it ideal for visiting the Guadalupe Valley wine country or enjoying nearby swimming and surfing beaches. The neighboring areas host markets, festivals, concerts, races, and many more activities.

The host was wonderful, highly responsive to our every need, provided great recommendations for dining, shopping and things to do. The house was gorgeous!! Windows everywhere to enjoy the view, sliders that opened to bring in the ocean breeze, and yet great privacy. The beds were super comfortable and the home layout was perfect for us all to have our own space.

Ruth was a wonderful host. She brought us firewood on a chilly evening. The home is just as pictured. The pool was great. And the ocean view was stunning!The golf course community is beautiful. Between Ensenada and Rosarito. The hotel restaurant was good on the days we didn't feel like driving to eat. And the kitchen is well-equipped.Great place for a group getaway.
