About this house rental
Open seasonally from May to October, Newly remodeled Blue Lake Pines suites are comfortable and cozy — perfect for family getaways or a romantic two-person escape. Because we are located on ten acres of grounds with 500 feet of frontage on crystal-clear Blue Lake, your stay will be both peaceful and eventful.
Fishing is a favorite pastime on 456-acre Blue Lake, where anglers find plenty of walleye, bass and jumbo perch to fill their stringers. Your stay in a lakeside suite is also a passport to swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sunbathing and boating, or nature walks through the quiet woods.
The suites are located within biking distance to the Bearskin Trail State Park which is a wonderful bicycle ride to Minocqua and beyond. We are also close to a wilderness experience for canoers and kayakers that is the Tomahawk River. Or, simply relax. Read that book you have been putting off; watch our resident eagles soar above the lake; or get reacquainted with your friends and family.
Our grounds boast plenty of perfect spots for family picnics and barbecues. If you are looking for an out-of-the-ordinary experience a place where you will instantly feel at home; travel to our corner of the Northwood’s.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Blue Lake Pines in Minocqua! Our check-in was after dark due to traffic heading north on Hwy 51 and earlier sunset times in the fall. We eventually found the right gate, but the drive in was a little bumpy and not very well lit. Additionally, there was little lighting on the way to the door for the Blue Water Cottage, so we needed our headlamps and flashlights to find our way. Once we got inside, we were impressed with the updated suite, full kitchenette, and cute decor. The suite was perfect for a couple's getaway. The accommodations were great - the bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was well stocked with utensils, coffee, and basic cookware. The next morning we were able to explore the grounds. The lake is incredible - quiet, peaceful, and serene. We enjoyed taking in the scenery and sipping our coffee on the docks. While we were up north we went for a nice walk on the Bearskin Trail, visited Minocqua for coffee - which happened to also be Beef-a-Rama weekend, and brought back Minocqua Pizza Company for dinner one night. Overall, it was a relaxing trip in the Northwoods!

Beautifully updated cottage with great views of a crystal clear lake. Enjoyed our time catching lg and sm mouth bass right off the pier. Even saw a few eagles fly past. Enjoyed meeting the other couple that was there during our stay. If I had to critique anything it would be to update your check out time on the picture sign and the guest book in cottage, it state's 11 am on both and from a woman's perspective, install a full length mirror maybe in bathroom or back of bedroom door. I know we are in the "woods" but still like a mirror to fully see in. Lol
Overall, our experience was WONDERFUL!! We truly found it to be a very relaxing place to stay!
