The setting is lovely and the building is quite impressive. The manager was attentive and very polite.
The building is rundown and not well kept (dirty). Overall, there is a lack of attention to detail. The mat in the bathroom looked filthy, there was no soap, the room (beds) was not made up from one day to the next, the curtains were seethrough so the light came in (which is very earlier during the summer months) and the breakfast (at an additional cost) is the poorest offering I have ever seen at a hotel.

"The place and location are stunning — beautiful surroundings, incredible architecture, and a cosy atmosphere throughout the building. The stories behind it are really interesting and definitely worth ..."
