About this cottage rental

This charming studio-style gite is situated next to a 16th century cottage in a secluded, rural location yet only 5 minutes from the nearest village of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. There is a good-sized living/dining area with open-plan kitchen overlooking the garden, Beautiful sandy beaches within 8 miles including D-Day landing beaches. The National Parks offer bird-watching, fishing and other rural pursuits. This is an ideal spot from which to explore the delights of Normandy: Bayeux, Coutances, St-Lo, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont and Barfleur are just some of the places within easy reach. There are thriving local markets on most days of the week.

Had a really relaxing holiday. Gite was lovely and well equipped with everything you could think of,including a BBQ which we used several times. Centrally located for all the Normandy beaches and museums. Sharon was a warm and friendly host. We are looking to go back in 2015-can't wait!!

Agréablement accueilli par Sharon, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un lieu parfait pour se reposer et idéalement situé pour visiter le Cotentin d’est en ouest. Le logement est propre, bien équipé et frais en été ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit !

Nous avons passé 4 jours reposant et à la fois revigorant dans cette charmante petite maison. Elle est parfaitement bien située au coeur du Cotentin, suffisamment à l'écart au milieu d'une belle nature dans les marais. La vue depuis la pièce principale donne sur le jardin délicieux de Sharon. On accède à tout très facilement, les commerces, la plage de l'Est par les belles routes des marais, le nord majestueux, l'ouest et ses dunes etc. La maison est confortable et l'on s'y sent très bien !! Nous reviendrons car 4 jours c'est court ! Merci Sharon

La location est très bien, joli jardin, propriétaire très sympathique. C'est un petite petite qui convient très bien et que je recommande pour quelques jours, un week-end prolongé.

Hôtesse accueillante et disponible, toujours prête à répondre à nos demandes.Nous avons apprécié le calme et le petit jardin.Nous avons été surpris par la l'aménagement de la location, nous nous interrogeons sur la sécurité, notamment de la chambre à l'étage peu praticable pour des sexagénaires! Nous avons été gênés par la vétusté de certains ustensiles de cuisine! Par ailleurs, la literie est très bien!

Idéalement située au calme proche des plages et des sites historique à visiter. Parfait pour nos chiens et nous très beau jardin. Une très belle rencontre avec la propriétaire des lieux on ne l’oublieras pas c’est sûr discrète gentille et aidante si besoin On reviendras certainement !

Bien ,nous avons eut des difficultés pour trouver le lieu ,devrait être indique plus visible au bord de la route vu le retrait de la maison ,la poêle tefal devient être remplacée pas appétissante,autrement dame très gentille et discrète ,ça nous a convenu et pour le prix ,on sait que ça sera un logement simple et nos chiens ont été super heureux donc nous aussi bien à vous

Eine freundliche Vermieterin, schöner Garten, ruhig gelegen. Die Schlafgelegenheiten sind für 2 Erwachsene etwas unglücklich. Obergeschoß zu niedrige Raumhöhe, Ausziehbett etwas Klein und kippt. Ansonsten Alles in Allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Logement conforme au descriptif du site. Très grande propreté. Mobilier fonctionnel. Joli jardin à l'anglaise. Les plages ne sont pas très éloignées (10 minutes en voiture pour les plages les plus proches). Un supermarché est à proximité (5 minutes en voiture), dans le charmant village de Sainte Mère l'église. La propriétaire est adorable et très discrète. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Nous reviendrons car chez Sharon c'est chouette!!!
