Wonderful stay

The host is very welcoming and his English is good (which is helpful if your German is terrible ;) ). He gave us some good recommendations. The apartment we stayed in was compact but had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The area is very beautiful with plenty of hiking opportunities. You can park the car right on the property.

Great stay in beautiful Berchtesgaden.

Everything was great the property is in a quiet but excellent location. Parking easy in front of the building. My daughter had a birthday and the host was so nice to prepare a birthday surprise for her she was very excited! The room we had was large with a balcony with nice views. I would Recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful location, properly equipped, very friendly staff (helped us a lot with advice about the surrounding area).

Not by any means the fault of the staff, but we found it uncomfortable at times with there being no A/C or an accessible fan to mitigate the heat.

Absolutely great stay with great host and great accomodation!

The accomodation has one of the most scenic views of Berchtesgaden while being very central. The host is very friendly and gives excellent tips for hikes. The room itsself was fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. There are pretty good restaurants around (e.g. the Jolly - one of the best pizza making spaces I have been to) and the Königsee is more or less around the corner. Also the access to mountains is great from this location and it takes only some minutes by car (some 10 mintues by bike) to start your hike! I really enjoyed my stay there and I hope I can return to the Waldhauser Hof soon!

Wer Ruhe und eine schöne Bergkulisse schon beim Aufwachen sucht, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben!

Der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge beim Frühstück ist einfach genial, die Lage ist top!!! Vieles ist zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar, unter anderem auch der Königsee (ca. 3 Km hin bis zum Malerwinkel). Sehr hilfreiche Empfehlungen zu den Einkehr- und Wandermöglichkeiten seitens der Gastgeber (in der Mappe). Wir haben tägliche winterliche Wanderungen bei der strahlenden Sonne sehr genossen!

9 Übernachtungen über Silvester haben wir in einer kleinen Ferienwohnung gebucht, für den Zeitraum war es dennoch ab und zu eine Herausforderung etwas in der Küche zu kochen. Toaster und Kaffeemaschine mussten weichen, dafür fehlte schlichtweg der Platz. Für die Geräte haben wir versucht, woanders Plätzchen zu finden, da mangelte es an den Steckdosen. Unser Fazit: für etwas längeren Aufenthalt eine größere Ferienwohnung mit einem separaten Schlafzimmer wäre eine angenehmere Lösung. Aber wir haben ganz kurzfristig gebucht.

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet, sehr ruhig und schöner Blick in den Garten und auf Jenner und Hohen Göll. Das Frühstück zum Selbermachen in kleiner eingebauter Küchenzeile. Schöner Balkon und geschmackvolle Einrichtung, gute Betten.

Küchenzeile im Schrank ist für richtiges Kochen nicht geeignet, da kaum Abstell- und Arbeitsflächen vorhanden. Aber gute Gasthöfe in der Nähe.Wir
