This is a cozy 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom Chalet style split Condo in Banner Elk, NC across from Sugar Mountain Ski/Golf Resort in Avery County. The 592 sq ft Chalet sleeps 4 comfortably. (with the use of a Serta queen sofa bed on the main floor) It is located near the Alpine Slide, Grandfather Mt, hiking, restaurants, live music, golf, mt biking, fishing, rafting, grocery stores, town park, horse back riding, skating, breweries, wineries. ski slopes, sledding, zipline and tubing. Take an easy day trip to Asheville, Bristol or Yadkin Valley.
It offers a split floor plan for privacy, full kitchen with newer appliances, spacious balcony to enjoy a morning coffee or tasty beverage, & a wood burning fireplace to cuddle up to. Kitchen has a unique custom built counter to dine on. It offers an incredible location with easy access and parking, off Tyncastle Hwy across from Sugar Mountain. Extremely comfortable new au natural, memory foam Queen bed. And a queen sz Serta sofa bed!

We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it none the less. Heidi is the most communicative host that I have worked with. She offered suggestions on places to eat and local spots to enjoy. Made our first visit to Banner Elk very enjoyable.

We went to ski and didn't need much space, so this spot was perfect. Right across the street from sugar mountain.

We had a great experience at Heidi’s place. My son turned 17 want to go snow skiing so we booked Heidi’s place and it was great hospitality easy chicken close to everything very clean very Homie. Heidi was awesome. She went over and beyond for our family and make sure we had a great day. Definitely will be booking with her again.
