ONSEN RYOKAN Yuen Sapporo

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! Staff: The staff were fantastic—extremely friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. They all spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy and the overall experience even more enjoyable. Location: The hotel is in a great location, in a peaceful and quiet area away from the noise. It’s approximately a 10-minute taxi ride to Sapporo Station and many of the city’s main attractions and tourist spots are within walking distance. Onsen: The onsen was excellent and a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. The complimentary milk ice cream after the onsen was a lovely touch and something I really appreciated! Cleanliness: The housekeeping service was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and everything was consistently spotless and well maintained. Overall, a fantastic experience! The combination of excellent hospitality, a convenient yet peaceful location, and a relaxing onsen made my stay truly enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo. BTW: I stayed in October

I’m being a little picky here, as I genuinely enjoyed my stay, but there are a couple of small things that could be improved: Iron Availability: I wish there had been an iron available in the room. Instead, guests need to collect one from the designated floors (I believe the 5th and 9th floors, if I remember correctly), bring it to their room and return it after use. Having an iron readily available in the room would be much more convenient. Breakfast Options: I would have loved to see more breakfast options for guests who don’t eat pork or drink alcohol. The breakfast looked absolutely delicious, and I was really looking forward to trying it. It would be great if the hotel could offer more dietary flexibility or clearly indicate the ingredients so guests with different dietary preferences can enjoy the experience. These are relatively minor points and certainly wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!

A beautiful accommodation in Sapporo. We loved the room and the shower. The facilities are beautiful.

The room was a bit small but next time we will take a bigger one.

Modern ryokan ambience.

Staff is not bad but could be more welcoming and attentive.

Nice corner room with tasty breakfast. Staff/service was mediocre for the price.
