Villa Da Vinci Luxury Panoramic Apartments - Taormina rooms collection

The apartment was spotless, well appointed with everything you’d need. We cooked a couple dinners and enjoyed it. The pool looked amazing but we were so busy we never tried it out. The view….. can’t say enough. It was by far the best view in any place we have ever stayed. Not even close. The terrace view was unreal. Stunning almost undersells it. ! Carlotta was absolutely lovely and very responsive to any questions. Just an excellent stay.

Nothing to all say about the property that we didn’t like. We loved it. If you have mobility issues, it might not be a great location as there are some steeper walks if you don’t taxi or uber. We enjoyed the exercise and adventure, so just great for us. Between the host, clean apartment and the views, nothing could have tainted our stay.

Carlotta was wonderful

The host, Carlotta, was absolutely incredible. She was so helpful, kind and responsive. The apartment itself was very nice with an exceptional view of the sea, which made for the most beautiful sunrise. Worth getting out of bed for! Very nice kitchen and bathroom. It is closet to Castelmola than Taormina, which to me is a bonus as I find Castelmole much cuter. The pool had the most stunning view over to Mt Etna! Parking on site was super easy, just under the building :-)

The pool as is much smaller than it appears in the photos. When we arrived at the pool with my 8 year old son, a group of women were stood in the water drinking wine so it was completely full already with lots of glasses around. Their body langage made it clear they were there to drink not budge up a bit us so we never got the chance to use it as were only there for that day. It was a shame as we chose the apartment only because it had a pool. The apartment is a very steep walk back up, on many steps, from Taormina. If you want breakfast, make sure to buy it the day before as there is not much around in the way of cafes in October, probably more places open in peak summer.

The property was spacious, clean, well equipped, peaceful & had the most stunning views. We enjoyed the walk into town (even although there are a lot of steps). Carlotta (the manager) was charming, so helpful, kind & gave us some wonderful recommendations of things to do, where to eat in the area. She really is a gem.
