Gorgeous Victorian House!! Entire suite in SAM's home

we had the second floor to ourselves which was nice, and the place was clean. Also, the neighborhood had some fun going out options and it was close to the train. The host was accommodating especially after Booking.com canceled our previous reservation very last minute as the property became unavailable, literally two days from our trip. The host was very responsive, which was appreciated, and met us upon arrival. We liked that he lived on the first floor too.

The host was responsive but there was not a lot of guidance and direction upon arrival and throughout the stay. Proactive communication was non existent. We were pretty much on our own. No guidebook, and no basic info like wifi password, etc. And, while we expect this to an extent, the street was incredibly noisy. But, again, we were in the city, so somewhat to be expected. The actual unit was a bit the work in progress, as it looks to be in renovation mode. That's fine, but for the price, was unexpected and a bit surprising. And given the price I typically expect a bit more amenities and extras. This place barely had the day-to-day basics. And had some unique features, like not being able to lock the upstairs door to our unit - we could lock the first floor deadbolt but typically we'd lock our unit too, but I guess no one else was staying on that level, or the level above, so it was fine.

Beautiful home. Well-stocked. Clean. Owner was so kind and hospitable. This place was a dream come true for our visit. Thank you!

Villa 2 (2. flor) was spacious with two bedrooms and a large bathroom. Shahid was a friendly host. The appartment is just 300 m from the Subway toward Manhattan. The Area is safe and has cafees and wholefood store nearby.

The street is a bit noicy even at night especially in the weekends. The house is old and beatiful, but that means thin walls as well so we did hear the sirens and cars at night.

The front porch and back deck were lovely. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was amazing, with many high-end features. The location was excellent, we walked to great restaurants and coffee shops.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
