Ging Oya Lodge

Lovely location by the river. Quiet and secluded. Great service. Lovely breakfast and lunch. Pleasant walk to the sea.

Lodge is very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Rooms are in bungalows set out in tropical gardens. The swimming pool is fantastic. Meals were delicious and elegantly presented. Staff member Niroshan was attentive, friendly and efficient

Loved everything except mosquitoes which unfortunately are a problem throughout Sri Lanka not only at this lodge ..

The hotel was a fantastic relaxing place to stay. The pool is large clean and had it all to ouralves most of the time. The gentleman who’s name I’ve forgotten could not have been more helpful or nicer. The wildlife and plants and trees were so interesting. There are crocodiles in the river that surround the complex. I think thats why the kayaking we free 😀. We ate one night and the curry and all it’s compliments could not jave been better. Two days of relaxing afyer travelling around SL just what you need before flying home.

Nothing that’s worth mentioning.

Really nice location 40 minutes from the airport. Seemed like an old colonial place so full of character! Great staff, wonderful food, lovely pool. Only booked one night but could be great to stay for a few. Take the kayaks out for a spin down the river…

All good!
