The location is superb - wonderful panoramic view of the Dordogne valley and near Limeuil, one of the most beautiful villages in the region. The room and bed were OK, shower good

The service was mixed. The main hosts (when we eventually met them)were friendly and very pleasant but there was no one to greet us when we arrived except a young junior member of staff from the kitchen when we rang the bell, who pointed us up the stairs to our room. No lift. No help with bags (- we are pretty old and 80-year-old husband walks with a stick). The WiFi didn’t work. The staff said that the problem was my phone security settings but there had been no problem in previous Logis hotels. The evening meal was disappointing: limited menu, not very well cooked or presented and the restaurant service VERY slow.
