We had a very enjoyable, comfortable stay.

The location was perfect for our requirements. The accommodation was very good, it was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our Landlady was very friendly and welcoming. We would gladly return.

Cheryll was a superb host. The room was very comfortable with many nice features: numerous outlets for charging, enough shelves in bathroom, well appointed kitchen to share with other guests which was not a problem. Cheryll had great suggestions for dinner our first night and helpful ideas for touring Cambridge.

It is really not a negative, but guests should be aware that it is located in a very small village with no services. The town of Spaldwick is 10 minutes away with a gas station, Starbucks, convenience store and a restaurant. The isolation and quiet was actually welcome as long as you bring your breakfast goods with you when you arrive. The few houses and surrounding fields are lovely sights and added to the charm. Also the kitchen is shared by other guests (2 at the most) which worked out fine and led to some very pleasant conversations.

This accommodation is one of the best I've stayed in yet!!.Cheryl is a lovely host and enquired we had all we needed. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean as was the kitchen with all its modern appliances. The location is beautiful surrounded by countryside and very quiet at night. It got a tad cold on one of the nights and Ceheryl didn't hesitate to put the heating in for us. Would definitely recommend for a more personal touch you don't often find in big hotels. Cheryl was in no rush for us to leave unlike big hotels who often lose their customer care especially at breakfast and want you to eat fast and go!!. Cheryl is an amazing host and the accommodation is most excellent. Will definitely go again if in the area..Thank you Cheryl. X

Friendly, peaceful B&B in the heart of the countryside

Beautiful, peaceful location in the middle of the countryside. Fabulous breakfast each morning of our stay too. We needed a base whilst visiting friends nearby, and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend. (Also, Cheryll's pet dogs are adorable, and very friendly!) Cheryll is incredibly friendly, warm and inviting - she'll make you feel right at home.

Relaxing and with everything I needed on hand.

The location is perfect. A quiet village with pubs and a fuel station within 2 miles and access to the A14 (for Cambridge) and the A1M (for North/South destinations) within 2/3 miles. A friendly hostess, provision of WiFi and access to a fridge (with fresh milk for drinks), a microwave and private parking made it the perfect place to stay when working away from home or touring the many local areas of interest.

I have no complaints at all. For me, it was perfect.
